Title: Why So Few Use Gallery
Description: DPS Gallery

I have uploaded a selection of photographs to the gallery and found it far smoother than the previous edition. I enjoy looking at the diverse styles of photography the DPS reflects. I was just wondering why their seems to be so few who use this great facility.

One reason might be that it has not been publicised much yet David.

I completed the work on it too late to get the details into the recent edition of "In Focus".

It has had to be changed in several ways the most impotant of which was the actual address. You can now find the DPS gallery here.

(links above as well and on the DPS website, which is also undergoing an overhaul)

This was forced upon us as our previous hosts went bust and it proved impossible to transfer the old address.

Thankfully GS networks have now provided us with a free spot on their servers, and they are faster and more reliable than the old ones. GS netwroks also provide a website development service so if any of you are looking for a website for yourselves I will be happy to put you in touch with Iain Simpson, who is a very helpful guy.

I have also started to upload some images to the gallery. There are many stunning images, but what has surprised me is that no one seems to be commenting on them.

Perhaps we all should spend a few minutes and look at out fellow members work ,and add the occasional comment.

Alan
