Applied for an Open University digatal photography course by correspendence - cost me over EUro 600 and I am aghast but I have also retention of information problems etc and thought slowing and surely the tech stuff would go in with this course.
Any one have any ideas re courses on the net, cheap and for the real tech stuff - VERY very simple stuff even aperture/shutter etc. It is THIS sort of info I cannot automatically get into my head as I am taking great pics after maybe using a whole chip I get a few but at great exspense at standing, and shear will and graft over my painful disability.
I am sure it gotta be easier than this!!!
xxAnn <_<
PS I would like to show you some of my pics but NOT to the whole world of computer and photo buffs! Any SIMPLE way of doig this!!!!
Hi, Ann, hope this helps Aperture Small numbers=movement=closeup
low light=fuzzy background
Large Numbers = scenery=all round sharpness
Shutter = Small numbers=non moving objects
Large numbers= movement=sport=dancing etc
This is a very simplistic way of remembering a very complex subject, but this should make it easier to remember
Try setting your camera to the A setting and select f8 this is in the middle.
The camera will then tell you the shutter speed ie1:60..You can then decide if you need a faster or slower speed for what you want to take. You adjust this by turning to smaller/faster or larger/smaller.
Make sure to hold the camera a steady as possible.
Hope this makes sense to you and increases the amount of successful pics you take,
Cheers
David
Hello there.. Whilst preparing the next magazine I got a lot of info from a lady called Rona Cox about a course she is running to help people in your situation. Apparantly the course is in CD format and costs around £80
For the info go to www.photostartup.co.uk
Hope this helps.
