Title: HAS ANYONE TRIED THE PENTAX K10D
Description: one handed camara operation
romster - August 31, 2007 06:58 PM (GMT)
Hi I'm a newbie to this forum but wondered if anyone has tried the Pentax K10D?
Having recently lost use of my left arm/hand, I wondered ifd this camara can be operated with just just one hand(right?)
Any advise would be welcome.I've already decided that going digital and autofocus would be the only way to continue with photography and am sadly going to have to sell my medium format setup as I can operate my bronica with just one hand :(

Hi, Romster, good to hear from you on the forum. Never used the Pentax myself, but a former member of this forum used on and got stunning results.
Nearly all of these DSLRs can be used one handed, and if you contact the Societies equipment specialists, they can give you the best advice about supports and loan you equipment.
You will find them on the Home page.
Look forward to your input,
David

Hi Tom,
I have returned my application and cheque on the 10th Sept.
I think it was a Dorethy who confirmed receipt but I have still not received my membership pack.Should I just sit tioght for a while longer?
I am quite keen to get some advice about supports and possibly the loan of one so that I can get out and start taking pictures again.
Is there anyone who could follow this up for me please.
Thanks,
regards
Romi
