You could do one of two things.

1) buy a second hamster and teach it the art of good photography and get it to take the pictures for you rolllaugh rolllaugh rolllaugh

OR:

2) buy an old camera and leave it in the cage, after a few days Millie will get used to it being there and you should be able to snap away with a remote shutter release thumbup thumbup

Any good?

The only thing I can add, Angela, is patience, and lots of it. Most animals do not like being photo'd, it is not natural for them.
They especially don't like too much flash. So start by putting them in a nice light area, where flash is not needed.
Put some treats in the cage or pen and give them time to settle down.
Think a little about backgrounds, they make life easier. a lightish one for your two.
This is where the patience comes in, don't rush to take your pics. Watch and learn the movements of your pets, and only take a pic when it looks natural.
Start from a reasonable distance and very gradually work nearer until they fill the veiwfinder. Do everything slowly and calmly and you should get a really good photo.
If you find you are gettin fed up, stop and try another day, we all have to.

Lots of luck
Look forward to the results

David ;) ;) ;)
