Title: Poor weather
himmelblau - March 11, 2007 03:17 PM (GMT)
Well here I am at St Bess/Whitehaven; got up today and as I do not have rain protection for my camers, I will be unable to take photos today; rough seas, high winds and mist/drizzle in the air.

Something that may be usefull for all of those trips your planning, a website with forecasts for up to 2 weeks ahead, for any place in the UK you want.
http://ukie.accuweather.comYou can also take some good images in the rain you know. ;)

When I got back To St Bees, I went for it anyway and took some photos; even lay on the wet shingle to get low down which ain't easy for me. I have to improve my photos some how

Monday was great, today is dull and overcast. Being out for two days has left me exhausted, so am having a day of rest and tonight am meeting an former REME friend who lives just outside Whitehaven for a meal.
Jeff is a member of my MSN group
REME Past & Present that I started back in October 2000.

Managed to get some good and bad photos yesterday evening, was amazed to see people out para-gliding and manage to get some good shots (I hope  )
Will post my photos when I get back home. Tomorrow, I am going back to the 'Rum Story' in Whitehaven to take photos; asked if it was okay to do so and was told yes, did not have my camera with me.
Am off now to try and get some photos of the harbour and will go back tonight to get night shots, as the harbour will be lit up.
