The first stop to consider for cover is your household insurance, ask if your equipment is covered on your household contents insurance; you will find that most companies add this at no extra charge.

If you own a Nikon camera you could consider joining
Nikonians and looking at their
NikSecure™If buying from Jessops or Tecno I would recomend taking out their Photo+ Warranty (1+2 Years) which also covers you against accidental damage
Another extended warranty to consider is a
Mack warranty which can be bought online from many eBay sellers; this will cover you against manufacturing defects but not accidental damage
