Having visited the Mobility Roadshow at Stoneleigh in June, I was speaking to Jane Satchwell (Access For All Co-ordinator) on the National Trust stand for quite a while, at one point during our conversation she informed me that the Trust had recently purchased 5 ‘Tramper’ all terrain buggies but did not yet know to which NT sites they had been allocated, she gave me her card and asked if I emailed her when she was back at base she would find out for me. I emailed her this week and thought I would pass on the information to you.
For a start, those who are not familiar with the ‘Tramper’ (which I wasn’t) this is their website www.tramper.co.uk A super bit of kit by the looks, I shall certainly be visiting at least one of the following five venues to take photographs and hopefully get a go in one and save on aching shoulders :P .
These are the five National Trust properties where I was informed they now have one
Quarry Bank Mill, Cheshire

She added that she visited Quarry Bank Mill last week and that the Tramper was very popular and that it may be advisable to ring and book it. Also that Dunster Castle are looking at buying one ready for next season.
Hope this information was useful

Wonderful news, they are great fun to drive and you can go anywhere with one, I have a lovely black Tramper and had mine in March this year, I spend many hours off road and can go places I never thought I could again.
