Hiya Snappychappy,

Well its definately cancelled for this year anyway due to the large increase in public liability insurance mainly i think, there won't anything to go and do soon its getting more like a police state everyday.

I hope to get over to Linton on Ouse tomorrow for the graduation if the weather holds so will be putting some pics on the forum.

If your not far away do you ever get over to Breighton airfield, if not its worth it.

Cheers

Tony

Welcome aboard Snappychappy

I agree Tony, it is slowly becoming a society where we are nannied to death.

I remember a time where we all took responsability for our own actions and we did not expect others to think for us. We made our own descisions as to whether or not we attend things like air shows and other so called dangerous activities, we accepted that there were risks involved in so doing. Some intelectuals have now made a career out of thinking for us and protecting us from ourselves, or so they think and preach. I know which part of their anatomy they talk from but politeness precludes me from further comment on the subject.

Its a mad world and getting madder!

I agree with Tony, Breighton is a good day out the web site says you have to be a member now to enter the airfield £25 as museum member well worth it and you are close to the flying
