Astrodude55 - January 29, 2006 12:31 AM (GMT)
SWEET!I got mugen!

Phoenix - February 12, 2006 04:48 AM (GMT)
I can't wait until SBS starts showing this.

Astrodude55 - February 27, 2006 12:48 AM (GMT)
Say what?

Phoenix - February 27, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
SBS, it's a free-to-air tv station here. (Here being Australia) From what I can figure out they're going to show this (Samurai Champloo) after GITS:SAC which finishes about mid-march. It's not often we get good anime on FTA TV here, but two series in a row is bloody unheard of!

Astrodude55 - February 28, 2006 10:33 PM (GMT)
Will it air,here,in the US?

Phoenix - March 1, 2006 03:15 AM (GMT)
How the hell'm I supposed to know?!? You're the one with access to an American TV book. Struth, I don't even know what the American tv channels call themselves! (Especially considering I usually don't know what's on Aust tv?)

Astrodude55 - March 2, 2006 09:57 PM (GMT)
i have access to a buncha channels via Direct TV

Phoenix - March 3, 2006 07:47 AM (GMT)
You're gonna have to translate that one

Astrodude55 - March 6, 2006 09:26 PM (GMT)
I have satellite and access to over 999 channels *most of which dont work*So....

Phoenix - March 7, 2006 02:38 AM (GMT)
we have 6 channels. Aunty is pretty bland unless you like stuff like Heartbeat GTS/BKN is basically the same as channel 7. Channel 9 has nothing on that I watch. Channel Ten only has Supernatural and that's only Mondays. Basically SBS is the best channel on offer and most of those programs aren't even in English.

Astrodude55 - March 11, 2006 12:56 AM (GMT)
son of a :censored:

Phoenix - March 12, 2006 04:47 AM (GMT)
DVD's are good and Samurai Champloo starts next week. GITS:SAC finishes up this week. I just hope SBS is going to keep the 2200 Thursday slot as an anime series of some description. It's cheaper than buying DVD's and then discovering you hate the show. That's why I was so happy when it was announced that this was showing.

You don't have to sensor your posts btw. It's not really going to offend me. (Especially since I have been known to turn the air purple on occasion...)

Astrodude55 - March 13, 2006 09:07 PM (GMT)
purple air?interesting........explain your theory

Phoenix - March 13, 2006 09:55 PM (GMT)
It's just an expression. If one has the ability to make the air turn purple (or blue as the case my be) one also has the ability to make shearers blush. (read: swears a lot)

Astrodude55 - March 17, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
Blue, Purple, w/e color air it maybe................air is still air.........as long as its not tear gas or mustard gas

Phoenix - March 17, 2006 11:36 PM (GMT)
or any other gas that's unhealthy for that matter

Astrodude55 - April 7, 2006 12:20 AM (GMT)
the gas that comes out the bathroom after you take like a 3 hour like poop?

Phoenix - April 7, 2006 08:55 AM (GMT)
DOn't remind me. I scrub thunderboxes for a living >_<

Astrodude55 - April 9, 2006 11:26 PM (GMT)
thunderbox?

Phoenix - April 10, 2006 08:55 AM (GMT)
Long-drop, dunny, shithouse...whatchamacallem's...toilets.

Astrodude55 - April 17, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
you mean wooden outhouses?

Phoenix - April 19, 2006 08:24 AM (GMT)
Weelll...they don't necessarily have to be a pit in the ground surrounded by a hessian tent with no roof, but you've got the idea. Term applies to modern indoor dual-flush shit recepticles (sp?). Australia isn't quite THAT 'backwards'

Astrodude55 - May 23, 2006 04:53 PM (GMT)
so its like an outhouse, but with pluming and an actually flushy-flush toilet?

Phoenix - May 25, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
well the thunderbox here that hasn't been used for at least 20 years was flushable and had plumbing and is about ten metres from the house.
But, you haven't lived if you've never experienced a long drop on a hot day. Now THAT'S what I call ripe!

Astrodude55 - June 15, 2006 03:37 PM (GMT)
sweatin your ass of huh?

Phoenix - June 15, 2006 11:42 PM (GMT)
it's not so much the heat, per se, but it certaintly makes it STINK.

Speaking of stinking, SBS are going to cut of Samurai Champloo after ep 13. BASTARDS

Astrodude55 - June 24, 2006 12:33 AM (GMT)
You should try to get sattelite....better then cable i can promise you that...

Phoenix - June 25, 2006 02:54 AM (GMT)
We don't watch enough TV to fork out that much money. we don't even have "cable" whatever that is. Just free-to-air-tv, and sometimes we don't even get that, seeing as how they don't boost the signals out to fringe areas.

Astrodude55 - June 27, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
wow.........sounds like it sucks...............alot

Phoenix - July 1, 2006 08:22 AM (GMT)
It's called DVD's. There's no ads, you don't have to worry about missing any of the program and you don't need to worry about the signal dropping out halway through.

Astrodude55 - September 29, 2006 05:29 PM (GMT)
I know what DVDs are dude...I'm not completely stupid

Phoenix - September 30, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
Just checking :P Actually I was really just pointing out why I like DVD's better than TV

Astrodude55 - October 31, 2006 11:31 PM (GMT)
Speaking of DVDS.....you could try and get Galerians:Rion oin DVD off of amazon.com (just make sure to put http://www. in front of it)

Phoenix - November 1, 2006 07:54 AM (GMT)
I've already mentioned this: I have a terminal case of being broke.

Astrodude55 - December 3, 2006 07:19 AM (GMT)
