Okay. I've got the first DVD. I've watched it about five times already. I have also DLed the mangas, read them through, and deleated them from my H-drive, and am currently searching for the official mangas. I also have the game. If that doesn't say "OTAKU" then I dunno what does. my only gripe: The dub kinda bites. one of the characters sounded WAY better in the original Japanese format, but you'll have to watch to find out which one.

*sigh* I WISH! The only anime worth watching on tv here (FTA TV, not pay-TV mind) is weekly. Still GITS:SAC is pretty good and FMA is coming out bi-monthly here in Aust. Both the anime and the manga. Vol 5 of the anime and Vol. 3 of the manga both come out on the same day in december ^__^
It's a pity the beginning of the anime wasn't as good as the manga IMHO.

what an ending..........*SPOILER*Well it seems that alphonse sacrafices himself to bring back Ed but then ed jumps in the portal to the other side....and Alphonse comes back as the 12-year-old boy he was with no memory of what happened over the last 5 years and it shows Ed on the other side talking to his dad and alphonse says 'I'll find a way to bring brother back" then Ed gets on a train (With his metal arm and leg) and Ed says "I'll find a way to get back" then as Ed is sitting on the train he reaches for the sky as does ed then the credits roll
