How to play

Each week you attempt to predict the winners and winning margin of all games played that week.
Each week, one game will be designated Game Of The Week. You must predict the actual score of this game.
The GOTW will be chosen by me and will be the only game in which the actual score is required.
The competition runs from week 1 of the regular season until Superbowl XLII

Scoring
Points are scored as follows:
For correctly predicting the winning team: +1pt
For correctly predicting the winning margin: +3pts
For correctly predicting the actual score of the GOTW: +5pts

1 bonus point will be awarded if the predicted winning margin is out by a single point.

Throughout the playoffs, all points will be doubled.

The winner

The winner is the person with the most points at the end of the season.
In the event of a tie, the following tie-breakers will decide an overall winner:

a) Highest number of correctly predicted GOTW actual scores
B) Highest number of correctly predicted GOTW winning margins
c) Highest number of correctly predicted winning margins
d) Highest number of 'within one point' bonuses
e) Highest overall percentage of correctly predicted winning teams
f) Lowest number of 'missed' weeks
g) Coin toss

Submitting predictions

The deadline for submitting your predictions each week is one hour before the first game kicks off that week.
Predictions can only be submitted by submitting this entry form.
No other method of posting picks will be accepted (TBC).

For most weeks the first games kick off at 6pm on Sunday (1pm EST)
Some weeks start on Thursday, and kick off times vary for these games.
The full NFL regular season schedule is available here.

Important: It is YOUR responsibility to get me your predictions on time.

just so there is no confusion when you see the tables, let me clarify the scoring. i can see that the '+' signs may be misleading.

if you correctly predict the winning team only, you score 1 point

if you correctly predict the winner and are a single point away from the winning margin, you score 2 points

if you correctly predict the winner and the winning margin, you score 3 points

if you correctly predict the actual score of the GOTW, you score 5 points
