im studying at anglia ruskin university nexxt semester and i know that they have a football team, but i dont know anything about them other than that.

can people give me some information about ARU, where and when they practise, how to get in, what their training regieme is like, whether or not i'll get in the team and will it help me grow as a player overall as im looking for every opportunity to imporve my game so that i can become a main stay receiver

so can you tell me everything you know about ARU football team so that i can join next year

Well actually yours truely plays for them. if you look at their record im sure you'll find out that your more than capable of making the team. everyone does. lol. it's a lot of fun you probably wont gain too much out of it. however, you will get a lot of playing time which will help. there will be a freshers stall when you start at uni and even if you dont see us we will pressure you to join up cause we need all the help we can get.

we practice on sundays. half in cambridge and half in chelmsford. transport is provided. there are a fair few coaches along with cats players e.g. me, little nath chris fenton is a coach.

a lot of the cats have played with them tho.....

i think the best thing that you will gain from this team is going to be playing experience. however they are all a good bunch of guys who you'll find yourself playing against in some of your senior league matches.

Haha, 1 1/4 game Nate Ashby gets credit as a former phantom, mebe they'll retire his number! (Cue nate "well I was great" rant :P )

I'd sincerly suggest NOT getting injured playing college ball, it sits about as well with coach as slow and incompetant staff at McD's!!!!

But hey, if u explain ur there to help protect Coco, then mebe, MEBE he'll be agreeable....

So that Coco doesn't get hurt and cry on the sidelines again!

thanks guys, i figured that from what id heard about ARU was that the biggest benefit of this would be the experience i would gain through being on the team and playing regularly
