Ex-city cop :bad cop: and TV reporter Mike Sheehan pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving drunk :drunk: and slamming into an NYPD horse.
He copped to a violation and was sentenced to five days of community service, lost his driver's license for 90 days and fined $500.
Sheehan was originally charged with a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment in the March 30 crash, faced up to a year behind bars had he been convicted.
He worked for the NYPD for 25 years and handled numerous high-profile cases, including the Robert Chambers preppie murder.
WNYW/Ch.5 fired him in April after 16 years. The horse suffered cuts and bruises to a hind leg.
