Title: The Worst TV Add Ever?
Description: No, it's not the one with Paris Hilton

Surprisingly, the TV advert I hate more than anything else on TV is from Party Poker, an online gambling site.

The add shows a man sitting in a clothing store, repeating over and over to himself something along the lines of "Looks great on you." A woman comes out of the changing room (we don't see her head) and asks him "How do I look?" He has a look of shock and disgust on his face. "Bad Poker face?" the ad chimes. "It doesn't matter at Party Poker dot com!" Then, he is shown sitting on a bench with a bandage over his presumeably broken nose, holding a bouquet of flowers, and repeating over and over "Got you some flowers."

Please tell me that I am not the only one for whom this ad is an anathema.

There are a lot of ads that make me angry. It would take forever to list them all.

There's also that "G-Whiz" commercial. I don't even know the point of the product. Apparently, it is a real product. The site above says it's and ad for the Mini Cooper, but it's only mentioned once in the commercial. I didn't even remember that the Mini Cooper was promoted until I saw it on that site. It makes no sense.

Over here there are loads of laundry-stuff commercials which are actually English but redone in Dutch. Not only do they look awful, they're all "OMG LOOK OUR STUFF CLEANS. BUY IT NOOOOOOOOOW!"

Why is this in Domestic Issues?

For me, the Snuffles teddy is nightmare-inducing. It is the eyes, I swear.

Why is this in Domestic Issues?

Because it's an example of extreme sexism inherent in society.
