hm, for those of you who have seen the whole t.o./eagles drama. what do you guys think about him being suspended/gone from the team? do you think its fair?
hm.. me, like many other philadelphia eagles fans, think owens is a great wide receiver, great player. BUT, he's horrible ..."off the field" you could say. i still wish he could be on the team though. he did appologize, it was just to late, and his agent went and made it worse. i wish he was on the team, him and mcnabb make a great team on field :/ but i wish he'd just behave when their not on the field -_-
Yeah its bad news for the Eagles(good news 4 my Giants :dan:). T.O unfortunately does know when to show restaint. So many jabs at Mcnabb compalinin about the class of the organazation cause they didnt celebrate his 100th touchdown. Come on. How could he actually think he could continue to get away with that? I can understand the 4 games but the rest of the year might have been abit much. If they are lucky the can actually resolve it(just to do it again next year).

=/ i actually agreed that they should celebrate his 100th touchdown.i mean geez..only 5 other people have ever done that. eagles shouldnt say they "want to be the best" if they dont want to recognize one of the best wide receivers in the league [not saying he is the best, but he's still really good]
i was thinking they should of done the 4 games w/o pay..then have him play the rest of the season (and tell him if he does it again, he'll be suspended w/o pay), then get rid of him after that [they dont want him next year]. him loosing the $800,000 or so would make him realize he shouldnt do it again [i think]
