Calling all reefers!!!

It's time to start planning the First annual OMAS Reef Tour 2007 Extravaganza. Although the date has yet to be determined, this event will be held as an all-day event during September. This will be a separate date from our regularly scheduled OMAS meeting.

So what do we need to get this event going? Volunteers!! If you have a marine aquarium and you are willing to open your home to others, please let me know. We will need at least 15 (20 to 25 would be even better) volunteer hosts to make this a successful event.

What I need initially, is your commitment to participate...even a definite maybe will do for now. Please contact me by PM either here or at Reef Central (same user name) with your name, direct email address and phone.

I think Kerry and I will be showing our setups only time will tell but put us down as a serious maybe.

As of today, I have only six OMAS members signed up for the Reef Tour. Certainly there are more than six members willing to open there homes and show off their aquariums!! Without your participation, this event will not occur.

For anyone who has never experienced a Reef Tour, all I can say is you don't know what you're missing!! This is an exceptionally successful event for the Wasatch Marine Aquarium Society in the Salt Lake City area. We don't have 200 members like they do, but I'm willing to be what we don't have in quantity, we can exceed in quality!

PLEASE if you have not already contacted me, do so soon. If I don't have at least 15 people signed up for this event, we'll have to consider scheduling something MUCH less exciting in it's place.
