i'm new to your forum and i joined the club last night.
here is my setup,
i have a 75 gal. reef tank with corallife pc lighting with 4x65 bulbs 260 watts,
i hat it set up for the actinic lights to come on at 9:30 am and the whites to come on at 10:30 am and then go off at 9pm and the actinics to go off at 10pm.
now i have added 2 vho"s to the mix 1 on either side of the pc's useing the uri 50/50 bulb.
now my question,
how should i set up my light times?
i was thinking about keeping it the same and only ruuning the vho's about 4 hours mid day

Id keep it the same but run the VHOs in the same time frame as daylight pc bulbs.I run a little over 900 watts of light in my tank witch is only a foot longer than yours and my corals love it.The only difference is I run mine from 11 to 11.
thanx for the reply, i was only think about the amp draw and electric cost.
but after watching my corals today with the vho's on all day i'll take your advice and leave them on.
those things really opened up big
