Title: Anyone have an Columbellid or Collonista snails?
TulsaReefer - May 6, 2008 04:05 AM (GMT)
I'm looking to add some Columbellid or Collonista to my 29G tank and was wondering if anyone has any of these they may be able to share. These are pretty easy to breed if there are no predators, so I'd really only like a few to get going with. They usually come in on rock and I've really never seen anyone much selling them, so I'm not sure where else to find some otherwise.

Yep, still on the hunt. Was hoping to get a breeding population in my smaller tank since it seems to get other snails to breed pretty quickly. If they are as I'm told they are, very fast breeding, you should have quite a few in a while after a few broods. If you get some extra and don't mind sharing some out, I'd be happy to try them.

If you are going to make the OMAS meeting this weekend, any chance you could throw a few in a bag? Otherwise I'd always be happy to come by and see your tank and visit for a few minutes, though with the price of gas, a drive across town is a major event any more.
