This was the first test SPS I put in my tank. Mainly got it because it was really low cost, and I didn't want to invest a lot into something if it wasn't going to make it. I think it was marked an "Elk Horn", but it's been a year, so it's hard to remember. Any ideas what this is? When I got it the color was more brownish, but it's turned more blue/green under my lights. I never see any polyps on it at all. It's really growing all of a sudden though, enough that it's beginning to fight with my orange monti cap, which I was stupid enough to put both on a single large rock. You can see in the left of the photo where they are just about ready to begin battling each other. I would take out the rock and cut it in half, but the monti cap has fused itself to the back of the tank, so I'll have to break it to do that... Not sure yet what to do, any suggestions? And any idea what this is?
