Interesting... I'm curious where this S-15 report came from, who funded it, etc. Lots of allegations there about what was found, but not much supporting or corroborating data. Not that it isn't factual, but it seems to end in a product endorsement, which leads me to suspect it's a veiled advertisement for the Marine Environment 2-part salt. Jarrod, aren't you using this stuff?
I was curious myself, so I did a quick Google search. Good info here:

Best salt I have ever used.Theres nothing like mixing a fresh batch of salt and NOT having a film left behind in the mixing can.MDP does not have alot of fans in the reef world in fact he was ban from RC.He has always answered any questions ive had about this salt.Heres a thread that is worth reading as well.
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...hreadid=1166971His salt is priced like TM pro.Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention. You all ever get that film on your glass thats brown?I never did when I used the bio-sea.
I do like RC as well for the price but if money wasnt an option with the little one on the way Id never have any salt but bio-sea in my tank.
I'll vouch for my TM Pro - I've never gotten a film in my mixing container :)
