Description: Food List

SoonerReefer - January 6, 2008 08:28 PM (GMT)
January Meeting- Late Holiday Party Due Ice Storm

The meeting/party is being held at Ken & Pat Snitz. Thanks so much for opening your house at the last minute. Please see the meeting forum on OMAS.ORG for their address or let me know if you cannot find it.

Just wanted to touch base will all the people that had offered to bring food the the December 2007 meeting which has been transplanted to the January 2008 Meeting. Seems like a lot of time has gone by since the November meeting.

I know a lot of people have had losses due to the storm and have been busy with the holidays. I know I sure could use some fun time.

Now for the food:

Appetizers
Pat Snitz ?? Jasha Lee - Famous Sausage Balls

Main Dishes
John Leeds - Turkey
Lori Pool - Spiral Slice Ham

Salads/Side Dishes
Bob W - Tortellini Salad
Jeff P - Shoe-Peg Corn Salad
Scott & Jena - Green Bean Casserole

Desserts
Pat Snitz - Pies
Lee P- Cookies
Lori P - Cheesecake ??

Casey - I will let you know what to bring.

If you would like to attend the meeting and did not sign up for food, please feel free add your name to this list with an item. The more the merrier. It seems we are a bit short on salads/sides. Pat and I just want to make sure we have enough food. Soda, water and exotic tasty beverages will be provided by OMAS. Please confirm if you are not attending so I can take your name off the list.

Happy Reefing

Since I already ate all the cookies I made for the holidays (yep, I'm a little bigger than I was a few weeks ago), I can volunteer to make something else if we are short on something. Or I can make more cookies...

If we are short on side dishes; while I'm not very creative on side dishes I could do sweet potatoes. I think I bought some but forgot to make them over the holidays, so I may actually have some in the pantry that I need to cook up!

I'll make a salad or some sort of vegetarian stuffing. I'd offer to bring a Tofu Turkey, but I tried that with my family during the holidays, and it wasn't much of a hit for some reason . . . . . .
