What lights do you currently run? Are you planning on upgrading and to what.

I'm running pc's on my tank, and I'm a huge fan of them as far as softies go. I hope to upgrade to Tech light T-5s in the future though.

T5's here, I'm a little surprised that option wasn't on the poll.

Tek Light T5s for me! I have only had them about a month or so, but I would recommend them to anyone! My tank is looking soooo much better since I got them. They bring out some really pretty colors on my corals and even on the fish.

Yes you would expect to see T5 because thats what I run I was just tired, I guess

I am running 2X250 watt MH right now. I have been kicking around the idea of either adding another 250 or just ditching the 2 I have and going with 2 400's but I am worried about heat. I really dont want to shell out the jack for a chiller. With the 250's I am able to maintain about 80 to 81 degrees, but it also isn't 100+ outside yet. Hmm..

vho all the way baby...The thing is though... I really like different lights for different purposes.

the pc fixtures do a great job for softies and lps and there cheap, neat looking and already ready with moon lights, seperate actinic and daylight.

Mixed reefs sps, soft and lps VHO is my favorate.

Sps dominant tank HO T5s or hallide/ hallide.combo... But depending on the coral you may get more favorable color from vho. <_<

VHOs, but will have VHOs & MH on the 120 project. I've got a couple acros that seem to favor MH as far as coloration goes.

3-400watt MH and 2-160 watt vho :D my acros love it
