After months and months of diligent planning, plotting, cavorting and conniving, it's finally here...the often obfuscated and slightly anticipated OMAS Crazy Daze Garage Sale! Once again, we need to give our respect and humble praise to Donny and Lori Pool for caving in and allowing us to trash their house. When discussing this with them, Donny smiled and said, "Oh boy...a party!" Lori was heard muttering, "Oh Lord..."


So what's a Krazy Daze Garage Sale?
It's an opportunity for all of our OMAS members to come together and sell each other our unwanted equipment and assorted junk.

So what's it gonna cost me?
There are no buying, selling, looking, touching, drooling or trash-talking fees. Your only cost will be what you let other members con you out of.

What should I bring?
Anything you've been stumbling over or banging into, but just didn't know what to do with. Let's be honest...it's a garage sale...bring anything and everything you no longer have a need for.

How do I price my stuff?
How you determine what your stuff is worth, is entirely up to you. You know how this works...everything you own is priceless, while everything everyone else is trying to sell is worthless. Be reasonable. We're not trying to fleece each other.

Who is responsible for selling my stuff?
You are. If you're lucky enough to sell something, you and the buyer are jointly responsible for the terms of the sale. If you have things to sell, but can't be there yourself, you may be able to make arrangements with another member to peddle your goods. However, OMAS isn't going to assume responsibility for watching over and selling your stuff. Also, if you're going to deal in cash, you'll need to make sure you have enough cash to make appropriate change. OMAS isn't the bank and won't be making change for you.

So where and when is this Krazy Daze thing?
When: Saturday, July 28th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Donny and Lori Pool's (OMAS members PM for address)

Does this mean frags as well, or just another mans(or womans) treasure? It does sound like fun!

Frags? Hmmm... I don't think we really considered the possibility of frags for this particular event. The plan (as originally envisioned) was just equipment...old tanks, sumps, filters, lights, etc. I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I won't be bringing any frags. Keep in mind, this is an outdoor (i.e. in the garage) event, so it may get a tad toasty.

Yes, this is just for your old equipment garage sale,we can buy, swap or whatever.Anything you dont need anymore or just lying around that has to do with reef tanks is welcome..

I'm in Seattle all week and not getting back until Saturday afternoon, but if I can get an earlier flight I'll try to make it. This really sounds like fun, and we all know one persons trash is another persons treasure...
