Title: Hello, New to forums. Thinking of Joining
Tahlequah - April 4, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
Hello,
I have been perusing the forums for a little while now. Until the news article I didnt know where to find a marine aquaria group, but had been searching the internet for about 3 months. Currently I am swamped with work but when I have an evening free I will look into joining.
I currently have a 30 gallon Fish only tank, but my big project is my DIY 75g tank. I have finished making the DIY rocks, DIY lighting, finally found some silica free sand, and currently building an overflow (the tank is tempered). If anyone has some ideas about DIYing I am very interested!
A little more about me, I work for Northeastern State University in the Housing Department. I am finishing up my masters in Environmental Mangement... Thats about all I can think of for an introduction... Hope to get to know some people of a common interest.

Welcome, I hope to meet you soon I am sure you saw that OMAS is having a frag swap and meeting this month so thats double your chances for a face to face with some of the members. Also if I am not mistaken we will be having a reef related garage sale at the frag swap so DIYing could be made much easier. Hope to meet you soon.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I hope to be able to find the time to make it to the next meeting. If not this month I should be able to make next months. Things slow down once the college lets out for the summer. :D
