I have set the frag swap date for April 14th at 7pm,we will provide the food and drinks and if anyone wishes to bring a snack or a cool beverage they are more than welcome.
This is open to all OMAS members and their families, lets have some fun! Everyone is not required to bring a frag,if you are new to the hobby and are just starting out with a new tank Im sure someone or myself will have something for your tank.
Please post if you would those that are bringing frags ( what you are bringing and what you are looking for in trade).
I myself will have several different corals to chose from,we have been making a few pink monti frags and also some green milli frags, but I should have more different ones by the end of this weekend ready to go..

Let me know what you all think and lets gets this thing planned out!!!

I think I'll try to make it. I'll bring the 3" Echinophyllia and maybe a couple of kenya tree's unless no one wants them, if so then I'll just try to take them to one of the local shops. I realize that the kenya tree's are not so sought after, I just have so many frags started from this one tree that they are crowding out other corals. Thanks...Tracy

I do softies, and would be interested in Kenya Tree. I have a few things to trade, not sure if you or anyone else would be interested in any of them, but have:

Toadstool leathers (from tiny, to HUGE) and they are tan/brown not green :(
Red mushrooms
Redish/purple zoanthids (depending on the light they are in)
Photosynthetic (purplish gray stems, brown polyps) gorgonians
Cabbage leather
Cauliflower (Cladiella sp.)

Here's a reminder and the details regarding the
OMAS Spring Frag Swap

TheMcs - April 12, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
Since Donny called begging & pleading for me to be there, we'll make it. It was the fact that he was almost in tears over missing me that did it. :D
Cut some acros & montis, also have a small rock with some green rics on it.

He doesn't have green rics people, it's all a joke! (if you tell people you have them, I can't have them!)

jjmcat - April 13, 2007 07:12 AM (GMT)
Rics you say. :D

dang! :P

TheMcs - April 13, 2007 03:56 PM (GMT)
Don't get too excited, the rics are babies off a big one I've had for a long time. 3-4 dime sized shrooms.

TulsaReefer - April 13, 2007 05:44 PM (GMT)
It sounds like those baby"rics" might bring a couple "first round draft pickss, with an option to select additional frags later".

Anyone interested in a large Toadstool Leather (Sarcophyton)? I've got a couple too many, and even if I cut them off, they'll grow back again anyway. I have one that would be about 8"+ across if it wasn't being overcrowded by it's sibling. Sorry, not the green variety, but still a nice cream color, and when happy has nice long polyps. Wouldn't be attached to a rock, but they are pretty easy to get attached anyway. I also have others that are smaller, down to tiny baby sized ones, if someone would prefer a smaller one.

KENSNITZ - April 14, 2007 08:15 PM (GMT)
I'm a new member planning to come to the frag swap tonght. I'm bringing some monti cap frags from jason's (Reef Revolution) big show tank monti cap. I like all kinds of softi corals- mushrooms, toadstools, etc.
