I have an Echinophyllia (chalice coral) approximately 3" in diameter. Metalic greenish in color with several mouths, circular in shape. I have two almost identical corals, probably need only one. Should start exhibiting more colors under more intense lighting, as they are now under only PC. Would like to trade for Montipora, Mushrooms, Zoanthids, others??? Plan on better lights and bigger setup, but not for awhile so probably no Acroporas. Need small frags as the tank is quite full. Would consider others. Anyone???Anyone???????? Thanks

You're profile is seriously devoid of any useful information, so I guess I'll have to ask... Are you an OMAS member? Do you live local to the Tulsa area? We're having an OMAS frag swap in a couple of weeks (details coming soon). If you're an OMAS member, you'd certainly be welcome to come join the fun and swap for whatever you can. I'll have to assume you weren't at the OMAS meeting last night...it was a fragging clinic...and anyone who wanted to, ended up taking home frags of acro, monti cap, zoanthids, yellow leather, etc.

Yes I am a member. Yes I live in the Tulsa area. Yes I was at the meeting, I won the set of baseball cards!! I brought home three frags. The Acan made it two days, I believe one of the hermit crabs must have feasted on it since that was the only activity around it that I saw??? The zoanthids didn't look too good from the getgo, but they may open eventually and the finger leather may make it. Most all of the other corals in the tank are doing well, slight bit of recesion on the Favia, couple of bleached tips on the birdnest, GPE zoanthids come and go, can't figure them out. The Echinophyllia's are just bulletproof in my estimation. Not dying to get rid of one, but would consider a trade for frags. I've been told I was devoid of useful information before...and worse.

Do you have a pic? if not no biggie, I assume if you did you would have posted it. I am sure I could trade you something. I need another coral like a hole in the head but hey if it feeds the addiction.

I didn't mean to offend...it's just hard to draft a reply to an anonymous post. I'm sorry to hear the frags you took home have been so underwhelming! Please bring the chalice to the frag swap. I'm sure you'll be able to trade for something great!

No offense taken. I usually don't put alot of information in profiles. I figure if someone wants to know something, they can ask and I'll tell them then. I will keep an eye on the forum for the swap time. Maybe I will be able to make it. Thanks again...Tracy
