This is just an idea, so don't kill me for it. I havn't got the Chaos Codex, but if someone could add up this force i would be very grateful.
N.B. All Rhinos have Smoke Launchers, Extra Armour and optionally a Dozerbalde and/or a searchlight. All aspiring champions have the following stuff: Powerfist, Plasma Pistol, Daemonic Mutation, Spiky Bits, Melta Bombs and Frag Grenades.
HQ
Chaos Lord with: Mark of Chaos Undivided, Powerfist, Bolt Pistol, Sorceror, Wind of Chaos, Servo Arm, Spiky Bits, Daemonic:Armour, Mutation and Aura (and maybe rune, resilience and/or essence).
Retinue of 9 Chosen with Mark of Chaos Undivided with: 3 special weapons, bolt pistols and ccws and in a Rhino.
Chaos Lieutenant with: Daemonic: Flight, Visage, Mutation and Strength, Spiky Bits, Mark of Chaos Undivided, Melta Bombs and Frag Grenades, Poer Weapon and Bolt Pistol.
Elites
10 Possessed in a Rhino (i don't know what upgrades they can take, so i'll leave it at that).
Troops
4x 20 CSMs with 2 special Weapons, Mark of Chaos Undivided, Aspiring Champion, Furious Assault and Bolt Pistol+ CCWs (and full grenades).
Fast Attack
9 Raptors with Mark of Chaos Undivided with 2 plasma pistols and a special weapon.
Heavy Support
4x 10 Havocs with 4 special weapons, an aspiring champion, some veteran skill (not sure which), in a Rhino and with Mark of Chaos Undivided.
Tactics
The Rhinos and Raptors charge forward, hiding behind each other and smoke launchers in turn one while the CSMs plod on. In turn two, it is rapid fire and Raptor Assault time. By the time the enemy have recovered from this, the CSMs, Chosen and Possessed hit home.
So, what do people think?

I love it but i must say its not what i would expect for an IW army but also ok.

BTW you made it pretty clear and point isnt a big deal :D

I dont see the need for melta bombs or frags because your army isnt exactly built for a heavy assault but im not the army specialist so im so sure.

Just a question, can you make th luitenent a raptor because he would put a heck of a lot of punch into the raptors if it were possible :huh:

Thanks, it was a passing idea and i like your suggestions. The point is that the lieutenant will be deployed by the raptors and move with them.

WOW very good looking idea, i like the fact that you have 4x10 havocs! :blink:
But i would try tacking one squad out and going for a predator or dreadnuaght! Just my suggestion though. :rolleyes:

Thanks, but i don't really need one, although i'm sure people know of forces which could easily beat this.

Mate you cant have a force that is unbeatable. One army may just annoy the hell out of you.
I would though have a tank for heavy support like a cheap predator to zoom in and lay down a base of fire for the advancing troops behind them.

A dreadnought is too easily knocked out and so wouldnt have much use unless fitted as a tank hunter.

I know... :(
