i like painting imperial guard cos i can relate to them, being humans and all with the war in iraq i see alot of men with guns and see wat they are wearing and get inspiration from them.

but i never paint them that way. i got my insperation from my GW store they look like the cadian 123rd but darker i will eventully get some pics of my force (as little as it is)(right now) on this site.

so tell me how you paint your army and what they are and where you got wout insperation. cos i am just intrested

I just do an undercoat, followed by modest and undetailed but acceptable standard colours. The only area of modeling where i shine is ideas for conversions.

I chose such a simple paint scheme (third attempt), that I could add more detail later, but I finished about 2000pts in about 3 weeks. I went for a Vietnamesque army with blakc flak jackets, catachan green fatigues, and black weapons. They look good en masse and I accidentally made one of my platoon leaders look like my girlfriend's dad, so I named the guy after him  . They are really a lot of fun to play with, but not anythings special to look at up close.
