First is better but you still not looking at it artistically enough. Look at mine for instance, it's a lot more rounded in it's design and stands out well :)

Its really quite easy if you have Photoshop. But to master it like some pro's have is a different story. ;) Oh and the first is by far the better one.

even when you have photoshop its still very difficult!

Yes I made my banner :) It took a awhile but I used to make them for other people :D

I used a pretty shit one to be honest. It's ok but not as good as Photoshop - I used Microsoft Photodraw. The trick is having a keen eye to get an image to look good. I'll post a link to some of my other ones later

People discussing bands and making art from things they love has never been illegal. Indeed if you look at dedicated unofficial sites to bands across the internet none of them are illegal. As long as the ydont SELL unnofficial merchandise or official merchandise without backing and permisssion there is little that can be done. Trust me, making abanner of a band you like is not illegal. Im sure Slipknot wouldnt care either.

Yeah. I'm here in California and a few people that go to my school like Slipknot's music. And I agree Silas, Spartan does make nice banners.

they have had some of tehre biggest concerts in england, they recorded their dvd in england... although i dont even know if your in england but yeh!

I'm in England, and I'm not in tune with the Metal/Current Punk/Hard Core music, I prefer Classical, old Punk, Post Punk, Rock, Maroon5 (this is technically light rock, according to the UK), Older music, there's very few bands nowadays that I'm into.
Maroon5, Green Day, U2 (although I prefer their older music like 40, Surrender, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Gloria, October, et cetera), France Ferdinand, Keane (kinda). They seem to be the best at the moment.

And frankly, wen I heard Slipknot the other day, I hated it. A lot.

Too many good bands out there to be listening to Shitknot. I prefer a heavier more intelligent sound from my metal such as Mastodon provide on Leviathon. Great album and musically immense. Heavier than Slipknot though so...

if ya want a good slipknot insult say shitsnot, sounds way betta!
