Ok first what do you all have against rammstein?

i just say i dont like the german singing its sucks, then you have to go into all this detail about whats wrong with hatebreed, i mean who cares. and defending your taste of music??? we have the same taste apart from those 2 bands.

i have no problem with rammstein, i like rammstein because its good music and i can understand waht they are saying :lol: so when i listen to rammstein, it feels like im just listening to another english speaking band.

hatebreed is also a very good band, but i can understand if you dont like them, the singing could use a little work :lol:

I have a problem with hatebreed because theyre not harmonious and their lyrics make very little sense. Its plain as day to see that they are taking what slipknot left behind, something which i think is quite funny and pathetic. Finally isnt a singer or screamer in this case supposed to sing with the words, not in between them?
Rammstien however have lyrics that have emotional meaning, harmonius and they are the most popular band in europe.

and u say the lyrics mean something, can you actually understand them or do you go on the net and check what they mean?
and hatebreed singing isnt tht good i admit but the lyrics have truth and purpose, unlike half of slipknots songs, and the guitaring is alot better than slipknots.

Yes but when you compare slipknot Iowa and Hatebreed rise opf brutality, theyre very close. Both albums fit in the trash metal category.

and iowa and the rise of brutality are nothing alike i mean different voices(as obvious) hatebreed has much better guitaring.

and half of the songs on iowa arnt very trash metal type songs, which you would notice if you actually listened to more than just three songs.

I dunno i havent heard a lot of hatebreed but i think the reason you like the guitaring is because it occurs in between singing, not harmonically with the singer. This must play a role in why it sounds better.

Also slipknot is trashmetal minus a few subliminal verses songs, every one with musical authority says so. On an artical i read, a lot of people say that they cannot recognise slipknot as a good heavy metal band because of their beginnings. Scarey but very true.

I like slipknot for who they are, although i have to say that i dislike a lot of their ongs on iowa and wait and bleed/self titled.

yeh but have you noticed that nearly all off those articles always try and pay out heavy metal bands these days?
cause i read articles all the time and they always try and put all the bads things in and keep the good things out

I have to agree that the guitaring is better, but i think hey are a gimmick, by this i mean stealing slipknots former image.

bolivious you have to be joking...better guitaring...seriously dean, jim and mick are two of the worlds best guitarists, slipknot has better guitaring. but thats your opinion, and this is my opinion.

seriously dale, jim i can say is good guitarist but, mick is just a plain head banger and nothing more, and the whole purpose of hatebreed is based mainly on the guitaring, and in half of the slipknot songs the guitaring is almost silent, but thats probably just because everyone is just listening for joeys druming

how can you say that, mick is the main guitarist, and have you heard vol 3? most of it is guitar solos and jammin, eg opium of the people, welcome, duality, etc

Yer well slipknot is now HEAVY METAL not hatebreed which is TOTAL TRASH METAL thats why they sound different.

Remember dale, dean thinks that the sub vereses are knots worst album, and he wrong its a work of art unlike iowa, he ignores the truth that its a lot better thn anything theyve done. Iowa was an excuse to be angry just like hatebreeds album.

excuse me i never said that vol 3 was the worst cd, i just think that most of the songs on iowa are better than vol.3 like left behind, everything ends, scissors and i am hated. and um three songs makes alot of guitaring doesnt it, and i meant slipknnots guitaring is practically slient compared to hatebreeds because slipknots drumming is put up louder than the guitaring and hatebreeds guitaring is put up louder than the drumming, anyway who gives a fuk they r both good bands. same as murderdolls they have better guitaring than slipknot as well because it is a bigger part f the band than joeys drumming.

yeah i like to listen to those songs a bit more than vol 3, because it helps me skitz out :lol: plus left behind is my fav. and scissors is on self titled dean.

well just trying to think no other bands i know can be compared to atreyu, but they are a metal band, sort of like the lead singer of killswitch engage singing to darker type of metal music.

Yeah Ive never heard of them and I pay for a tickit and go and end up not liking them it would be a huge waste of money.

hhmm heres an idea, grab ure mouse goto watever download program you have, open it up, goto audio, type in atreyu, then download a song. its not that hard i did it, because then you can decide whether u like the bands, otherwise how did you ever like slipknot unless you listened to them.
