A group of friends and I are having a campaign soon. The story is that four three Ork warbosses under the control of a single warlord and his forces have landed on an Imperial planet where part of an IG regiment resides, in hopes of taking over. What they didn't know is that the regiment was being inspected by an Ordo Malleus and his all Grey Knight entourage. Soon after the intitial assault, the Inquisitor uncovers a group of Chaos Cultists supported by the Thousand Sons and their heathen gods. The Inquisitor sends a distress signal to a neighboring planet that sends over reinforcements from a Steel Legioin regiment. The did receive the message, and sent a message back to the Inquisitor that was intercepted by a Dark Angels detachment on its way back from a diplomatic mission eager for battle, immeadiately landed on the planet, ready to fight their way through to the surrounded inquisitor.

Here is my Dark Angel list for the campaign. I made it to compliment the Steel Legion, give me any help you think it might need. P.S. I put these really great power claw gashes into the side of my command Razorback to complement the Xeno Fighters. It's sweet as hell.

[SIZE=1]I, obviously, use the Land Raider to transport the assault squad. As to what I can change, I have a rhino that I can put the Assault Squad in, but bought the Land Raider for its massive size, a full squad of Ravenwing bikes plus and attack bike, a Ravenwing Landspeeder (finished this morning) with Multimelta and assault cannon, 5 CC scouts, 5 with 4 sniper rifles, 12 more tactical marines, two with lascannons, an apothecary and a techmarine (both with BP and PW), a Librarian in Terminator Armour, and an Interrigator Chaplain with BP. All of this and what I have above is painted so feel free to make any changes, nut I would prefer them to be within the stock mentioned.

All good, but the Razorback will not last long and you want Weaken Resolve for some clever crossfires.

Id suggest a crusader over a normal land raider. It's so much better for assault, since you can rumble forward a lot while firing. HAhahaha....

Does anyone have any pictures of a non BT Crusader, I'm skeptical on how it would look.

The point is all chapters can have them as a 0-1 heavy support, you just use the BT model and paint it different. What about the GK LRCs?

I know, but I don't like the look of the hurricane bolters, and I wonder if they look very different with another army's paint scheme.

I think I have patches of the Dark Angels paint missing and showing the BT scheme under, maybe fuse two decals. I'll have be awarded to tehm as thanks for a suicide planetfall onto a mass of thousands of orks, allowing the BTs to regroup or something badass like that. :P

As long as the Chapter uses dark colours they look fine. Hurricane bolters are amazing!

It says you can shoot them no matter how far you move or anything, but do they count as moving, i.e. can you always fire 24"?

Vehicle mounted weaspons always count as stationary.
