yeh im proobably just going to goto grinspoon and atreyu cause i cant be f***ed going to a 12hour concert of stuff i havent heard of and its at the valley well probably get mugged about 20 times before we get to the showgrounds.

everyone should get a song by atreyu because they are alot better than grinspoon and shihad and it would be a much better pit than grinspoon probably.

The Valley is like King's cross in Sydney. Every week someone dies in the valley and like every day multiple people get mugged.

grinspoons pretty good, heck im going to see them and i like all metal, lyk slipknot and pantera and korn

korn wasnt actually metal because although its classed as numetal, thats pretty much rock. i mean even linkin park is being called numetal now

well ok, rock, numetal, death metal, and heavy metal are my style

Im more into shoch metal like Pantera and murderdolls these days (pantera sounds a lot ike dolls so dont argue this one)


i think nu metal is being watered down by people calling stuff metal when it isnt.

linkin park, korn, slipknot, s.o.a.d are all numetal bands.

I understand that korn has extinguished all tour dates. What a shame but theyres nothing we can do to stop it, they need a lead guitarist.

i havent heard pantera before i might download a song from them
i can see how korn and slipknot can sorta be in the same genre but still lp is nothing like them

well i like any kind of heavy metal/ slash rock whatever you like to call it, that is quite true it is being watered down by alot of bands that arent metal at all.

yeh well im actually starting to listen to the more mellow sort of metal music, like vermlion pt2 and all that so im expanding my horizons

I have broad horizons when it comes to metal but i dislike bands who scream and dont sing. Sliknot, mudvayne and killswitch all scream but they can sing aswell. This is the difference between heavy and trash metal.

Anyone can scream into a mic that is why Linkin park was so original. Because they could sing 3 different tones. Normal, soft and screaming. And it all sounded good. There are only a few bands that have proved that they can sing good live. I am still waiting for Slipknot to prove that their good singing is good live and that it just isn't being editied by machines.

Slipknot can sing,, theres not enough you can do to make a screamer into a singer, i have seen the vermillion pt. 2 live clip when i was in NZ, they can sing, even though the russian crowd was going bezerk.

um he meant that he saw the live clip on tv, a russian conert, but he was in nz when he saw it.

and slipknot is really good live, i don't know what they were like at the bdo but they were awesome at their concert that i went to.

and no erokose the singing isnt edited by machines.
