past: He has just been raised to the high council of the JUsticar but to prove is worthyness he has been asked to wipe out the daemonic evil of the valley.

So far: the Imperial ships are orbiting the planet as so far, they have just realeased the daemon hunter company from the main hanger and they will arrive shortly, the 1st of the shock troop companies are being lauched from hanger 36. The daemonic force on the planet has just opened fire on the grey knight ship, but has done very little damage.

Sitting in his drop capsule Vorros tightened his helmet and griiped his lasgun tightly. The aerial bombarments continued and as the last shell hit the goround they prepared for the drop.

awakening from a very long and deep sleep, grodos looks around to see the rest of the grey knights as they prepare for the landing.

Let's get this show on the road, baby.

IC: Tyr looked about the command bridge, his wrist mounted Storm Bolter was loaded, his Force Halberd was clamped to his backpack, he turned to the first officer and said. "Tell the Justicar I wish to speak to him."

All ships have just landed on the Valleys surface. Just as Oralack left his drop pod it was hit with a daemonic force and was blown into a thousand peaces. Oralack charged his power staff and headed into battle. There he saw the first line of daemonic creatures waiting for him, it consisted of 3 blood thirsters, 5 daemon princes and 3000 blood letters. He headed for the leader of the bloodthirster brewed. His power staff glazing, his heart burning, his adrenilin pumping and with all his might he swang for a mighty blow against the bloodthirster, but was slapped away by its mear might. With half of his armour destroyed and hardly being able to move, Oralack opened fire on the daemonic beast. He could see that it was doing nothing to the creature (btw the bloodthirster is like 40 stories high) he opened a com-link to a panzer division but there was no signal in the valley, just as he managed with all the strenght he had left to stand, he felt the ground rumble from behind him. He looked back to see his brothers come to his aid. " you should of waited my friend," said his closet Brother Achilles. Adrenilin pumped through Oralacks veins as he saw his brothers. 6 Dreadnaights opened fire on the bloodthrister as they saw it was making an attack. The lascannons seamed to do nothing to its daemonic skin. The grey knights set up a line to repel the best, just as they finished the making of the line they heard a yell, a mighty yell. It was Brother Captain Stern. His might scared the beast and made it falter to the rear a metre or two. "PURGE THE HERATIC," yelled Stern as he brought his power staff straight through the beasts head. "1 down 2 to go," Oralack sighed.

OOC: Spartan, that's an aweful lot of Daemons for such a small group of Grey-Knights, ;)


IC: Tyr looked about the battlefield, he raised his wrist mounted storm bolter while running into combat, firing as he went, the Stormbolters' Psycannon bolts pounded into the Daemons, then his Force Halberd came down, his left hand flew and sent a Daemon flying, his Halberd's shaft whizzed into a Daemons' chest and left it a bloody ruin. Tyr then sent another wave of Psychic energy.
"For the Emperor," he said, and then he swung his Force Halberd, the blade bit deep into a Daemon....

Following the grey knights Vorros and his men leapt into a fox hole created by the impact of the aerial bombardment. The grey knights were slaughtering the demoralised daemons of the god of khorne.

The bloodthirsters seemed to be the priority and it was the job of the cadians to allow them to do what they needed to do.

"Right boys, kill the little ones and work your way up". Vorros picked off the bloodletters attempting to take down the courageous brother captain stern.

As he jumped out of the fox hole a huge explosion ripped through all but 3 of his men, the chaos space marines of khorne sprung their ambush.

Oralack saw the ambush approaching the greyknights. He summoned Brother Stern to fight by his side as he charged into the ambushing force. He powered up his staff and swang deeply into the Marines. Brother Stern had no challange as he finished off the remaining marines just as Oralack had just killed his first marine. " i need a challange," sniffled Stern, "hmm, another blood thirster might do," replied Oralack with pride as he saw Sterns armour shine in the firey pits of the valley.

The guard army just made its move, 89 000 troops pooring into the valley, the guard felt fear as the saw the Knights fighting a loosing battle.

"is this the only re-enforcments we get," he said in an angry tone.

OOC: the guard are basically loosing the fight.

Vorros ran behind 10000 troops behind him. On his right he saw men falling to fire from traitors as the men of cadia smashed into a wall of traitors.
Hundreds of traitors were horribly butchered. Vorros cut straight through 3 men and continued on ducking a blow from an agitator and jabbing him in the neck with his bayonet.
After about 30 seconds about 150 cadians were dead and another 400 wounded but over 1000 traitors had been massacred and thousands more were dieing.
The grey knights were just metres ahhead. Vorros and his men charged the hundred or so bezerkers below the bloodthirsters to certain death.

Oralack saw the stupid move Vorros was about to make, so he gathered 76 GreyKnights quickly and hurried to Vorros's side, his men were ready to slay bezerkers. They all powerede they staffs and swords and lashed into the enemy Bezerker hordes. Oralack ducked an axe swung by a bezerker and stabbed him strsight in between the eyes, he swang at the spiring champion to watch him fall to his knee's.

Vorros and his men with the aid of the grey knights massacred the bezerkers fighting from 2 directions.
Vorros was lucky, as a bezerker was about to cut him in 2 a grey knioght had slain the beast knocking Vorros into a whole and safety form the melee above.
The bezerkers had been cut down and hundreds fled before the might of stern and a host of grey knights to their fire position in the depth of the valley where the ral battle was about to begin.

Oralack slayed the last bezerker and moved on into the hordes of Bloodletters.

Bloodthirsters were running between the masses of bloodletters.

As the grey knights began their spiritual enhancement the imperial guard formed a defensive line and began slaying the miniature deamons around the feet of the bloodthirsters.

At first the volleys of lasfire ripped apart the colossal orde opposing them but as the enemy moved closer the world eaters marines began to return fire in the form of predators, rhinos and traiitors.

The imperial guard were still holding a stronge line, the demolishers were wiping out the opposing heavy suport.

It all appeared to be too easy, maybe it was or maybe the valley wasn't as well protected as the imperial commanders thought.

Vorros saw the tanks ripping apart enemy vehicles as enemy infantry managed to finally reach imperial lines.

The bloodletters were beign dragged down by numbers and soon the battle of the valley would belong to the imperial forces.

With the adeptus mechanicus titans the bloodletter were being polished off with ease as so the rest of the daemonic forces "in that area"

Vorros and his men wandered through the fires of the valley killing of the wounded and capturing relics wherever they could.

The titan second from the back launched a lazer destroyer blast into a horde of bloodletters, smashing them to peices and leaving a massive crater in the ground.

It aseemed the area was secure, the township had unknown strength, the battle was won but the war had just begun.

The imperial forces started to build fortifications, walls and sentry towers were up with scout squadrons of sentinels around the perimiting area. The chaos hordes were going to attack but the imperial were ready. The titans had to return to the sips to be repaired and serviced for the next battles.

The defences were alomst ready. In the time until they were Vorros and the rest of fox company were sent to check the perimeter as well as 2nd recon.

Vorros was in command for the first time in his life, sitting atop a chimera he barked orders at his men.

A few traitor guard were all that stood before the guardmen as they made their objective quickly, but as they returned artillery rained down shredding their tanks and men flew in every direction.
