When do you think its lame to use super charcters?

These include C'tans, marine/chaos characters, greater daemons, any other special characters from any other races.

Please tell me what points limit is the cut off for using super characters in your opinion?

I reckon most Independent characters like SM and CSM Captains are okay to use in 1000+ games. Ctan tho, they should be banned in games less than at the very least, 1500points.

I dont really mind just aslong as the games over over 1000 points. Although i have used Kharn The Betrayor in 750 point games before. C'tan is way too expensive for anything less then 1250 points. :)

I don't really care. I think it's fine to use any super-duper-characters no matter what the points are. I don't use any though, i don't really like any of them. But, I've got absolutley no objection to others using them.

However, I do agree that some of the characters are a little too expensive to use in games that are less then 1,500 (rounding up).

I don't think its really fair if you're playing a 750pts game and someone has a 3 wound, WS 10 super characer with five or ten basic troops backing it up. There should be some sort of limitation, so that in smaller games you can only have 2 wound characters like Nobz or Junior Officers.

I think Barahoth should be banned in 750 and less games. He has wings so he moves 12, then fleet of foot +1d6 then his bounding leap +1d6 then he can charge. He has high innitive and usually goes first. He gets a 3+ save and has a power sword. In total he gets 4 attacks but then he gets +2 for charging because of another ability. Now every time he hits he gets another hit. So I keep rolling to hit until I miss. He also has a power sword so no saves.....Now can you tell me that thats not cheesy?
