um...I don't know why my friend set up this game, maybe because i don't win that much battles but he set up a campaign, and the first battle it was my whole tyranid army (roughly 1100 pts) against a squad of quardians and 3 warp spiders ;)

the storyline was that they had been left after the world was evacuated and tyranids came to take over the planet, tyranids had 6 turns to defeat the squad before evac came.....of course tryanids won in this, i mean anyone would :lol:

but now in the campaign my army haas to defend the planet.....how f*%*#d is that...i can't defend against space marines, eldar and necrons :unsure: its just too risky :lol:

Yeah thats the basic storyline. The planet holds many supplies that can used to create powerful weapons and vehicles for any race. Its also placed in a certain part of the galaxy making it easy to defend and easy to assault the other palents. It is sorrounded by 3 moons. The planet was abandoned a when tyranids attacked. The eldar in their infinate knowledge came to the planet ignorant of the small tyranid force still in sleep in the area. The small squad moved out searching for the source of some of these matrierals. They came across the creatures and retreated to a bunker. The drop ship would come in 6 minutes. They were slaughted almost making it to the ship but sent the cordinates of the raw matrieal to the drop ship. Now other races are drawing the same attention to this world. The eldar have a plan, use the tyranids to kill their enemy while they gather the raw matriels.

that is a very good battle plan, but even with your ideas i don't think i will stand a chance when i vese shannon, or david or anyone else for that matter.........unless its my entire swarm against a squad :lol:

I think that is a very good campaign and a excellent plot/story to lead into it. There was a campaign like this in WF, Empire had to protect a castle so that the Chaos couldnt invade. It started off very good and ended very good. I cant really remember now but I will post more so keep watching if you are interested. :)

as i have proven to beat a nid force with 1 squad i might be able to pull it off but that was when the previous owner of ur army was versing me, and youve made alot of upgrades to it since then...but i do have WBB roles hmmmm yeh you'd prob win.
