Ok.
Us here so far on this forum (3) people all have our own boards (cityfight, Iceworkd(yay thats mine) and a necron hmeworld) and i must say that they should be a square shaped or close to it so the board isnt a column.
I have lots of buildings and farmhouses with a few rocks and tank traps.
My friend has a cityfight board with lots and lots of ruined buildings.

Hey,
I have a 6x4' board which can be adapted to accomadate several different terrain types,using pin mount scenery.

For my Inquisitor games i use a number of 1x1' squares each with a different piece of terrain on it so that i can mix and match with a load of walkways which hook on. B)

I shall be trying that,I think it is on of the best ideas i have heard,how to avoid getting bored with the same layout for all of your games.

You know its weird i had that idea last wednesday when i was playing with a couple of buddies. Some sorta telepathy huh? news sure travels fast, shoulda kept my mouth shut.

I play on boards like that but i hate it when the peices like knives and gunsights fal off and go down the cracks.
It usually happens when all the modles are spread out nd the maxmum models are on that particular block.
Its called murphy's law.

Hey i have a desert board and i figured how to keep all the sand down without causing any mess. paint it with lacker it keeps it down and it is easy to use also its dosent make the sand fall off when u are painting it :rolleyes:
daniel it is a very good board you should fell proud give yourself a patt on the back!!
