My standard 1500 point Tyranid list would rape your Templar list. Gaunts move 6, fleet D6, charge 12. Tie down everything in combat on the first turn (using rending claws to cause horrendous casualties) and blocking LoS to the rest of the army.

Biovores hit anything in cover or clumped in groups. Tyrants kill your Raider and your characters. Old One Eye moves in as clean up crew.

I'm assuming that the original poster posted this list as a challenge, so I posted mine to show him that his list, in fact, is not 'unbeatable'.

Neither is mine, in fact, but it would certainly make short work of his Templar army.

Thats the advantage of nids though, you can tailor them to your foe nicely. Myself I have a templar army that would rip his, but if that failed theres always the 12-starcannon eldar force...

That's the thing tho...my Tyranid list isn't tailored specifically to beat one opponent. It's made to take on all with a decent to high chance of winning.

That is where the great tacticians come into it.
This is a game about armies and tactics.

If you can play tactically,you can beat any army.....just learn to adjust your tactics accordingly.

By the way that tyranid list is well pretty easily killable with my army.

That tyranid list well pretty standard and tie up everything i dont think so. I have played the ultimate killing machine army and a list cant beat another list, but tactics can be the difference between a win and a loss.

I can roll over most opponents in an assault but tyranids just make me change my outlook on my tactics. Hit and run really make devastating raids and shoot down the gaunts.

I just cant see how you can say that your list wouldtotally rape mine based on your own assumption :huh:

Nah i know i was just agreeing with you.

I have come close to defeat with it but no one wants to face me head on (big mistake).

The flaws with my army are easily found but i try not to play the way my army is well adapted to.

My list changes......um none i have not lost with this list so i dont know whats wrong with it.
