History:Kazmerov was once an innocent young boy living inside the garrisonmtown of Vogen. he was drafted into the defence forces because of his tough build. During the opening days of the war all he once knew was destroyed when the iron warriors captured the big guns on gibbet hill. His home and everyone he ever knew was crushed under the foot of iron. Hen fights on the far flank of the imperial defence line almost alone.

History: Mord grew up on Edoris Prime, learning his gunfighting abilities in Gangs, at the age of 16 he was taken off-world and trained as a Storm Trooper for the Imperial Guard.

Equipment: Lasgun, bayonet, grenades, medi kit, combat knife, extra rounds for lasgun, food rashins, cigars and alchahol.
Appearnace: Average height, blue dyed spiky hair, hazel eyes.
History:Tero Playford is an only child, he has been fending for himself ever since his parents were murdered by the undying plague of Nurgle. Thus improving his skills having to support himself until he was recruited to defend Vogen and surrounding systems.

A shell had decimated the building months ago. Hab building 172 was jusr ruins. Kazmerov lay there pumping rounds into his lasgun ready to fire onto the next enemy he saw. Peering over the edge of the second storey he quickyl jumped down to examine what lay beneath.

The slog had been hard for weeks. Fresh units bolstered gaps apart from one. The 333rd airborne was in reserve ready to pounce and take back the gardens and push on the city centre. The drop was planned but intelegence wasnt good and the lines had no idea who was comming from the skies. The Traitor armoured assault had cut off a small portion of Imperial defence that had no communication with higher rnking auithorities.

Hardened strom troopers layed waste to early incursions but their positions had not yet been identified.

Boltgun shells whissled passed Teros head as he sailed down towards the battle field. His feet touched down firmly on the rubble torn road he loaded his lasgun and fixed his bayonet to his gun, running quickly he took up a position behind an old ammo dump.



Seconds later................
He scoped out his surroundings using his gun scope and spotted a small squad of Traitor guard at the end of the street corner. He took aim and let out a volley of lasbolts.

Name: Erek Hunder

Race: Human

Class: Officer

Weapon: Bolter, Laspistol, Power Sword.

Apperance - Tall, brown hair, strange green eyes. After all the years of fighting and training erek looks quite battle hardened and has a scar running across his check.

History

Erek had a strange life, being born into with no family. His mother died giving birth and he never knew his father. Erek grew up as a fighter training all his life. Being in many battles Erek suffered a scar from a close combat weapon from a trator. Erek slowly ended the trators life by taking that very weapon and plunging it into the mans chest. During a later battle vs the trators Erek was sadly corrupted, with the gift of power and knowledge. He is now part of a secret organisation that is against the emperor. Now Erek fights the trators but slowly plots the demise of his once allies. As a little kid they believed him to be a psyker but the energy died inside him.

The 33rd was landing. Kazmerov had no idea what was going on. Peering through his sight he targeted a plane with a 4 foot imperial badge on it. He watched traitor fire bounce off or miss the imperial planes by far. A trooper landed just metres from a nearby ammo dump and was immediately targeted but unhurt.

Quickly training his lasgun to the position of his estheemed new commer Kaazmerov popped two rounds into the head traitor and the one standing to his left. Scoping the Imperial soldier nearby he read his nametag. Playford it read. Ready to give up his position Kazmerov once again dispatched those who opposed him.

Running out towards the amo dump across open ground Kazmerov lobbed a grenade into he lines of traitors before diving for the emptied ammo dump.

Erek was hidden in a small destroyed building. He had led his whole squad to doom and now awaited the enemy. He drew his Powersword and reloaded his bolter. Once the sound of footsteps came he lept out slicing the trator in half then blasting away another two. He knew that if he didn't find reinforcements soon he would surely be killed. Fearing death Erek ran to another hiding spot.

Most of Teros Rounds missed or bounced of the traitor squad but one lucky shot travelled straight into and out the back of one of the horribly disfigured traitors heads, SPLAT brain and bone covered the rest of his squad.

Angry at there loses the Traitors returned fire!

Erek Pulled his com radio out and sent a signal to any nearby forces, giving his location and amount of men. He then placed the com back in his backpack. Hearing enemy forces come closer Erek Drew his bolter and his laspistol. He peered around the corner and was horror struck to see a group of 15 trators all comming forward, a few armed with close combat weapons. Erek did a combat roll out and landed in a kneeing poistion. He raised his 2 weapons and started firing. He blasted away at least 5 trators then ran back behind cover. Knowing that the enemys would soon overwhelm him Erek shouted for help.

Sorry i'm late in guys, Chaos, thanks for the favour.

IC: Mord ducked an incoming slug, it impacted on the trench wall behind him, he leapt to the side and fired his Autogun at the Traitor, the cultist fell and Mord shot him a few more times, just to make sure.
He then retreated back a few steps as more Traitors made their way into the trenchs...

Erek Stood with his weapons ready. Sweat and blood ran down his face and he knew this may be his final battle. He could hear the running of feet getting closer and closer. Erek pulled the pin from his grenade then rolled it into the feet of the squad. He lept to the ground as the explosion went off killed the whole squad. Relief came across his face but then dismay as he saw another 3 sqauds.

"Cover me!" Tero yelled to Kazmerov as he stumbled to his feet, his lasgun swinging from its shoulder strap that he held in his left hand. He unclipped a Grenade from his belt and lobbed it towards the traitors, then drew his combat knife and took cover from the grenades flying shrapnel in what remained of the old city halls ruins, across the road from the ammo dump.

Erek ran down the deserted streets, knowing that the trators were hot in pursuit. As he turned the corner he could hear exploisions and the sound of combat. Salvation Erek cried as he ran towards the noise.

Mord fired again, blasting a traitor off his feet, where was the rest of his squadren? He asked this question to himself several times, he ran down a side walk in the trench, soon finding Tero and Kazmerov.
"Cover me!" Tero shouted.
Mord leapt towards them shouting.
"They've breached the south treanch!..."

Erek ran and turned the corner to see a mass battle. There were many trators and heaps of imperial In trenches. He saw 3 battle hardened men like himself and went to move up to them realising that he was behind enemy lines.He could see he was poistioned behind the trators and had a plan. He pulled out his last 2 grenades and looked for the best spot. He pulled the pins then rolled the 2 grenades into 2 seperate groups. The blast went off and Erek charged forward. Shooting and stabbing the ones that survived the blast. He ran across the battlefield and could see shells flying past him. He was almost at the trench when he got hit in the leg. He yelled out in pain and fell to the ground. Only to start crawling. The enemy seeing a chance started to open fire on him. "HELP ME" Erek shouted as he saw two of the battle hardened men come past.

Mord heard a cry to his right.
"HELP ME!"
He ran off, gunning down a few traitors on his way, he turned right at the next cross and ran down the trench.
He soon saw two Chaos Marines, each of them, he cursed, he had no Grenades.
He shot at the neck, his Autogun not the most accurate of weapons, but it stil took down the first Marine before the other could turn round, he continued to fire upon the second, rounds blasting into its armour.
It fell, after firing several Bolts, the weapon was horribly inaccurate, but even so he grabbed both weapons, and readied them.
He ran on down the trench, finding no more Chaos Marines or Cultists, only Erek down on the ground.
"Come on!" He said as he dragged the Guardsman on to his feet.
"Thanks."
"Anytime, now come on, take this Bolter....."

Erek stood up with the help of this brave man. "Thank you for saving me, my whole squad was blasted down and I am the sole survivor. I am Lieutenant Erek".
Erek took the bolter dropping his own one for it was out of ammo. Erek picked his sword up off the ground and hobbled to cover.

"i'm Sergeant Mord of the 1445th, good to meet a fellow Guardsman, I have a few others down the trenchs, follow me!"
Mord ran off, Erek followed, both slowed as they came aware of something watching them....

Erek followed then layed in the trench bandaging his leg. When he was finished he stood up and prepared for more battle. Something he didn't tell the men around him was that there were 3 squads of 15 comming. Something no one knew is why the 3 squads were comming. Erek had stolen a powerful item, after killing one of their leaders.

Kazmerov was shaken by blasts. Cahos marines now riddled the streets and so did scrambled guardsnem from the 333rd. The Infantryman Teros ran from the ammo dump. Kazmerov covered his position by eliminating a traiotr and a lascannon gunner attempting to hit a nearby discarded shell.

Kazmerov knew the area like the back of his hand. Recognising he was close to the Traitor command he fiddled with his bayonet and readied himself for close quarters. Turning round a corner he heard what was obviously a Half Track. Jumnping through the door of the building he stepped over a dead traitor and made his way up the stairs.

Imperial infantry began to group south of him around Teros. As the half track turned the corner, it opened fire with pityful accuracy. Most of the rounds struck the ground and those that didnt sprayed the position of 2 imperial soldiers. Lining up the crew kazmerov pumped round after round into the back of the vehicle kiling the gunners and incapacitating all 5 other occupants.

Erek started to move off past the trench ignoring the pain of his leg. He knew soon that this trench would be obliterated by the 45 trators comming. He knew that with this item he could lure many more, and hopefully lead them to the emperors main officers. An evil grin came across Ereks face but he felt remorse for Sergeant Mord the man that had saved him. "Come on, we gotta move, soon the area is going to be over ran and we will be doomed". Erek heard gun fire nearby and saw a large man kick down a door and enter the building. Erek would also get this man out of the area, he made his way over to the building and entered.

Tero knew they would be pinned in the same place for a while to go now. The assault of traitors and marines was strengthening. He took off his back pack and slid slowly down the wall, into a squating position, he searched his bag and pulled out some food. He held the case of wet slimy bean food up in one hand offering it to the others............
He notice something out the corner of his eye, he swifly turned his head towards it, it was a wounded Chaos Marine craddling his horrific neck wound. Tero dropped his food and took aim "BANG BANG", the marine was left with two bloody, smoking holes in his face. :D

Mord followed Erek into the bunker, his Bolter ready, he was watching the entrances to the trenchs.
He spun and blasted, the explosive flew into the Chaos Marine, he went flying as the shell blew his body to ribbons, Mord laughed.
"Chaos scum can't match me!"...

The area was seiged. A weird man came in to save Kazmerov. He ignored his request and decided that he would do what he was born to do and had done since the first day of his battle in Vogen. Leaning his rifle in place he peered down the scope and trained his sights on the on comming horde.

Bang. A karak missile sent he and the guardsam flying. kazmerov was fine. He was in shock. Everything was in slow motion.The horde rampaged through the streets and entered his building. The nearby guardsman pumped rounds out of his bolter into them killing the first 4 and wounding the 5th. Kazmerov grabbed a grenade and threw it from the window into the masses of wretched traitors.

Now back to normal he once again rose his rifle and picked off those that stood out.

Erek was annoyed at this man ignoring him but started to open fire on the masses of troops.
Erek saw how Mord handled The trator and was quite suprised. Erek raised his hand up to his necklace of his cult, pulling from his shirt Erek said a quick prair then was jumped by a chaos marine. Erek dropped the symbol to the ground then quickly finished the wounded marine off. Fearing being caught Erek went to grab his necklace realising that mord and the nearby man had already seen it.

Mord was surprised as Erek finished off the Traitor Marine. But he also saw a necklace, it held Chaos Runes of somesort.
"Whats that?" He asked, pointing to Erek's neck....

The blood rushed to ereks head and he held his sword ready to drive into mord. He stopped himself but quickly hid the necklace again. "Do not worry friend, it is nothing".

Mord looked at Erek, he held something of Chaos.
"It's a necklase of Chaos isn't it? Thats why they're coming here. Give to me, NOW!" Shouted Mord, he leapt back and raised his Bolter, he was out of sword point, and was about 10' away from Erek, even the Bolter wouldn't miss....

Erek felt terrified. He had been in many battles but never against ally. Erek ran for the nearby window, jumping through it into the crowd of trators. As he landed he hacked and slashed and ran to the nearest trench. The trators knew he had stollen the item and started to chase after him. Erek would lead them to the officers. As he was running his leg gave way and he fell to the ground. He quickly got back up and kept running.

Kazmerov had no time for this. The hordes were upon them and he was runnign short of ammo. He grabbed the chaos rune and wrapped it around his only grenade. He pulled the pin and heeved it from the window. It fell shredding 11 traitors in the same breath.
He ran past the 2 imperial soldiers and grabbed all lasgun charges and returned to his position to find the traitors climbing through the second storey building. Ramming his knife into the traitor he signalled for help as the traitor dropped what appeared to be the remnants of Ereks chaos rune.

Tero could now hear the grumbling of traitor and chaos tanks rolling through the streets. He squinted through his scope and could faintly see a chaos marine maning a combi or storm bolter on the top hatch of a very beaten up tank. He closed his eyes and let loose, bolts bounced of the tanks meaty armour and the gunner was not hit.

The tank, now focused on teros direction fired its lascannon, brick and rock flew in all directions as is struck a near by street corner. Tero now fumbled out his radio and called for anti armour heavy support.......

A good amount chased erek, he stopped then pulled out the item he stole. It was an ancient chaos ring. Erek held it in one hand. "Come any closer and I smash it".
The force stopped and aimed their weapons. Erek knew he was about to be fired upon when the forces in the trench started blasting them away. Erek put the ring on and felt instand power. His mulces bulged and he felt a blood lust. He placed the gun on his side and charged forward with his sword drawn. His eyes were blood red and he was in an unquenchable blood lust. He started slaughtering these trators with great ease. When he swung there was no resistance and enemy was easily cut down.

Kazmerov was noce a good frind of a weapons support team. The radio attached to his helmet buzzed. He ran to the window and looked towards the bend. Tanks were closing and time was running out for his estheemed coleague to get inside before he was enveloped by the horde.

Peering down his sight he pumped his magazine onto the tank. The traitors seeking cover clutched limbs and fell as did the gunner who fired in every direction with his last gasps. traitors were sent in all directions. 30 of them were killed and countless wounded.
It didnt matter as the horde was now monstrous. In distress Kazmerov radioed for help. The basilisk support platforms were well within distance but were occupied from close range.

Throughout the streets the 333rd gharried the chaos horde but it just grew bigger.

Ereks radio started to sound off. He could hear a man yelling for help and he could hear the cordinates being shouted. The weapon he was holding was now bathed in blood and it started glowing with power. He ran to where the signal was comming from and saw a tank opening fire on a man behind cover. He climbed the back of the tank and drove his sword into the gunner. After stabbing then decapitaing the driver erek climbed inside. He saw a small crew and hacked them to bits.

The weird one was proving his worth to the emperor. The entire chaos horde was stunned by the actions of 1 man. The guns turned shredding everything around it. Traiotrs swarmed over the wrecked vehicle. Kazmerov dared not leave his post along with Mord who remained stil for the moment. He lined up the traitor opening the hatch and pot shotteed his head. The others turned slowly but almost half of them were gone before they had a chance to react.

Mord ran forwards and boltered the rest. Kazmerov reloaded his gun and looked towards Mord who was gunning down the traitors who were escaping fire from within and without.

Suddenyl a deamon engine lumbered forwards and fired its weapon at the buildin at the end of the street turning it to dust in an instant. It was badly damaged but no less potent on the attack. Its command was shattered and uncovered. It Fired once again on the ammo dump sending shells and munitions in every direction.

Erek felt the blood lust over comming him, he felt the need to kill all. He climbing from the tank and ran to the next group. He started to hack and rip people to shreds. Even those begging for mercy he disembowled. He felt nothing except the need to murder. He felt someone or something watching him, and he felt a hot red anger, a thirst that could not be quenched.

IC: Mord dashed out the building, his Bolter he switched onto Rapidfire and shot out several blasts to destroy the Engine, it didn't work, Mord ran out of ammo trying to blast it.
He searched for a dead Marine to steal the ammo off of, he found one, with a half full clip, he loaded it into his Bolter and fired the 10 or so shots into the Daemon Engine....
