inquisitor ghost - June 10, 2004 10:56 AM (GMT)
I'm useing a very demonic warband with an inquisitor who is generally following in quixos footsteps but doin a better job.
My warband contains 2 demons along with my inquisitor and for support i have a chrono-gladiator.

Assassin Wolf - June 10, 2004 10:58 AM (GMT)

chiz65 - June 10, 2004 11:02 AM (GMT)

We could be here all day discussing the fluff for our warbands. :D

chiz65 - June 10, 2004 07:25 PM (GMT)
That's not a bad thing...

But heres mine, just a quick reeling...

Inquisitor Kagain

Kagain was raised on the planet of Mordian and conscripted at a young age into the Iron Guard. He fought with them for many years, accumulating battle experience and rising throught the ranks. He soon became an officer, a lieutenant in the 362nd mordian regiment. His exemplary record led to him being selected by the inquisition, where he served under Inquisitor Parrek of the Ordo Hereticus.

As time passed and Kagain witnessed more of the Ordo, he began to doubt that the Inquisition was as holy as the Emperor it served. Time and again he watched as percieved heretics were sentenced without trial or justification, sentenced to horiffic fates at the hands of his over-zealous master.

He decided to act. Parrek had already assured him that he would take the place of Inquisitor in the event of his death.
While on Verlis IV, in the pursuit of a corrupt planetary governor, he took control. The cowardly governor had fled to his vaults with the vast wealth of the mining planet. As Parrek cornered the man and forced him to confess his sins, Kagain shot them both dead and siezed a few choice items from the vault, before making good his escape. It was then he found a new direction for his life. He would become a thief. In the war torn world he found himself in, where mutants, daemons and fanatics abound, a mere thief would be of little concern.

Taking his new position and authority, he recruited a retinue from the criminal underworld. As an inquisitor, he could have more contacts, go more places and get away with more than any other man.

Truly, crime did pay.

----

Kagain is a basic inquisitor (havent decided on precise characteristics)

Skills- Ambidextrous, Fast draw, Lightning reflexes, Gunfighter.

Equipment- Pair of Bolt Pistols with 4 normal reloads and two stalker shells each, both have target selectors and range finders. Stubber with reload, Sword, one tanglefoot grenade. Flak armour on all locations except head, personal eldar warp field.

Warp field- this only provides D6 protection to all locations, but on a roll of 6 it has no effect. It does not make the wearer more visible unlike crude imperial force fields.

Kagain has experienced many atrocites in the Imperial guard committed by generals against their troops, such as forced addiction to certain combat drugs. He is horrified by the practice of implanting bionics and neurally linking human and machine. He hates any cybernetically altered character and must target them wherever possible, and will never use bionics or combat drugs himself.

-Chiz65. Whadda ya think?

Daniel - June 11, 2004 12:01 PM (GMT)

chiz65 - June 11, 2004 01:57 PM (GMT)
Coupla minutes, no more. But thats not the point, tell me about your guys!

--------------------

-Chiz65, who is not going to go to the expense of typing that for nowt.

inquisitor ghost - June 12, 2004 04:13 PM (GMT)
Nice background/character chiz.(like the warp feild)
I'll put mine up soon. :D

chiz65 - June 12, 2004 04:36 PM (GMT)
I edited the warp field because i thought normal force fields were too good- on top of flak armour they can be better than power armour!

---------------------

-Chiz65. Uh huh.

Assassin Wolf - June 12, 2004 05:58 PM (GMT)
ok,Chiz, you win...i'll post mine as soon as i can make my fingers type that much in one go,lol

The Hive Mind - June 12, 2004 06:48 PM (GMT)

inquisitor ghost - June 13, 2004 04:39 PM (GMT)

Yes the storm sheild are really "overpowered".
The warband idea was to have a Magos leader and his bionic enhanced henchmen so yes it would include "bionics and drugee servitors" along with a chrono gladiator(love the model)

chiz65 - June 14, 2004 07:47 AM (GMT)

--------------------

-Chiz65. Always a reason.

inquisitor ghost - June 14, 2004 07:55 AM (GMT)

And i'd like to see you stop a chrono-gladiator on the charge with 2 power claws and drug intake that would kill a small animal

No, not true- Shoot them with penetrator round. Chuck haywire grenades. Run over weak floor so they fall through. Or shoot them in head 5 times, so long as it does 1 damage each time he is DEAD.

Or lock him in a room with a kitten. Problem solved.

--------------------

-Chiz65, who is well aware of the fearsome combat prowess of a kitten.

inquisitor ghost - June 14, 2004 10:13 AM (GMT)
A very dangerous kitten with sharp claws and big teeth. :P
The SM are too powerfull on their own unless you take specialist equipment which alot of people wouldnt have unless they played them frequently..but then that leads to specialist warbands desugned to take doen one enemy which sould be avouded.

Assassin Wolf - June 14, 2004 10:14 AM (GMT)
Arrgghh CHIZ,

Not the the cat thing again plz...SM=bad in inquisitor..QED

No, any kitten is suffcient. However it may be neccessary to trap the room with a remote-detonating explosive.

Heck, do you want a kitten on the loose after a fresh kill?

-Chiz65. Enough said.

Lay off the combat drugs..once you start seeing kittens,,insanity is next!

I did say i liked those combat drugs..lol
Its just a laugh with the kitten...thinking of this how do you think the poor kitten feels about this?.

Assassin Wolf - June 14, 2004 10:48 AM (GMT)
If the kitten is one combat drugs, youre all done for, lol.

i am surprise that GW has not added some exotic animals into the game..its not like there is a shortage of them.

The rules are their in inquisitor youve just gotta make the modal. then you can have anything you want

chiz65 - June 14, 2004 10:52 AM (GMT)
good idea. I may try that, convert a cyber dog into a real one (now that would be funny)

It bugged me with the first models they made. The guardsman was nothing like a tradtional guardsman, making it hell for modellers.

Not fun.

--------------------

-Chiz65, who is not endeared by GW idiocy.

Assassin Wolf - June 14, 2004 11:00 AM (GMT)
Nah...GW just like making models that dont look they way we want so that we wil buy green stuff and booster packs/other bits
to create our characters.
