The Glurgr are attacking the Defila, her only chance is that a band of mercenaries join to fight back against the dreaded aliens! armed with only Laser Weapons and Enengy Swords we are to repel the Glurgr, a nasty breed of experimental humans gone frenzied! they also use some laser Weapons! but they prefer to use their giant fists against our guys!

History: A Clone from the Mar Alpha-28/A8 colony he fights to defend the rest of his race, his use techi stuff is invaluble, but after leaving his colony he became a visious fighter to help fight against Glurgr, his close combat team is ready for battle at any time!
Appearance: Joruus has Blond hair, green eyes and the look of experiance about him, his clothing is his uniform of Blue torso and britches, but his sleeves are Green to indicate his rank. (next close combatent has red sleeves for Sergeant and then the rest have blue for Grunt) (this is the same colour scheme for ranged troopers green, red and blue)

History: A rebel who fled war because he flet the cause was an worth know his is being hunted down for this act, and finds refuge with the party always fighting for what he believes
Appearance: like he-man but wears loose muscle shirt, and worn baggy jeans, with his sword and axe on his back

Appearance: Rague has thick short spiky hair, blue eyes, he stands about 6 feet high and has a scar on his left cheek. He is always smoking a Cigar and is a firm leader who does not tolerate fear or disobedience amongst his men.

Appearance: Dressed completely in black, Snake wears a long open leather coat and long leather jeans. Snake wears and eyepatch on his left eye, with a very rough look to his face and he has fairly long black hair. Despite his impariment he has great vision and usually works alone but agrees with the cause and is willing to give the cause a hand.

History: Imprisoned for his beliefs and thoughts snake escaped from prison with the help of a few old friends. he is now on the run form many bounty hunters who require his head. The rogue has many enemies and isn't easily persuaded and it takes a lot to gain his trust.

"As you know the Glurgr have bombed us, and boarded us, I want you 5 to go and wipe out any of the xenos you can find, after that, report back to me and we'll planet-fall to Gedon VII, there we can make repairs and re-arm our-selves to re-join the Seberus Arcania, go now, and kill the Xenos for the God of Gods!"
C'baoth nodded and said. "Of course sir, we shall go and clear the xeno's off our ship for the God of Gods!"
the other four shouted. "For the God of Gods!"
he and the other walked to the bridge door. "Lock it after us!" C'baoth shouted, as it opened and he and the others walked out, weapons ready.....

like that, we post our characters thoughts, words, actions, anything, basically you are your character, it's not like in AD&D this, just us saying what out characters do.

Rague checks his weapon scope and all, then swiftly hurries to Xanatos side.

discribe what your character feels, finds, does what whatever, none of the "I will move into the cliff face for protection" kinda thing, it's a "c'Baoth ran to the cliff face and hid behind a boulder, he then checked his weapon and aimed at the enemy", it's that kinda thing. You ARE the Character you have created
but in time you will get used to it guys

Although i'm not taking part in this (mostly cos you havent got a GM or any ground rules) I thought i'd point out that a good RPG game like this relies on each player writing decent IC fluff. As Darmort said and showed in his examples always include actions AND feelings. Feelings include feelings to the situation, to other members of the warband, to their own history etc.

Dm; you are getting better at this sort of thing (i remember your first one on d.net, wasnt too great). But you still need to work on your spelling and grammer. Logic and good knowledge of background would be cool as well (some of the things you tried to do in Vengy's warband thing was quite er...out of keeping with the background already set).

Silas, in the Exiled Warband I am a Khonite now, that alters my whole character, he is a pure merciless character

IC: C'baoth came up to Rague. "What's happening?" he asked.
"Nothing as of yet," said Rague.
C'baoth looked down the corridor, it was dank, the lights had been put out, by what? the crew? unlikely, unless they were fighting the Glurgr, who were obviously the ones most likely to do that. and it did fit in with the 10 or so dark shapes in the gloom.
"Attack!" He shouted, his Enemgy Sowrd flashed on, he ran into the nearest enemy, barrelling himself and the Glurgr to the ground....

I didnt mean with your characters personality. Remember when you posted about some human hiring us for an amount of gold, we spent ages in the chat argueing because you had put the price ridulously high. The amount was out of keeping with the background. There were quite a few instances like that.
