I forgot to tell you a few things........
If you think I have the points cost wrong for some units, I don't. I might have left out a few things in some of the units while typing this. So, I have the points cost correct (should be anyway) so please don't say things like:
"Um, the Horrorfex's points cost is wrong."
Because if they are, I just didn't type something for them.
However, everyone here is smart (seriously), so I'm sure you can all work it out if I did leave anything out.
Sorry for this small inconvenience.
Thanks everyone! :D

Thats sounds pretty cool my friend collects nids and he needs more stuff ;)
Scotty - September 6, 2004 01:57 AM (GMT)
Thanks mate!!!!
Just so you know, this army actually has 220 models, not 80. I forgot to change that after copying and pasting.
Thanks peoples......any advise???
The Confessor - September 6, 2004 03:02 AM (GMT)
I don't know much about Tyranids so I can't help.
How are the gaunts a Fast Attack without wings?
Can't you only take mutations if you're using one of those custom hive fleets? Which would mean you can only have 8 different broods.
CHAOS GOD666! - September 6, 2004 05:53 AM (GMT)
The list looks good! But i would maybe have a few more genestealers, probably 10 or so more.
It looks good though, good luck with it! ;) It looks like a hard hitting force with everything needed to do well in all sorts of battles.
emperors champion akeris - September 6, 2004 09:59 AM (GMT)
Hmmmm i would maybe suggest tyrant guard. The 2+ save really helps screen off your models with a less than adequate armour save. Also have you thought of the so called 'exotic choices' like gargoyles or maybe a squad or 2 of termagaunts B)
BTW what is the total cost of this army
Erokose - September 6, 2004 12:31 PM (GMT)
Get more genestealers get some temagaunts. get some gargoyles and get some more bivores, then u will be unstoppable, (Thats only if u never wanna be beaten) :D
Scotty - September 7, 2004 05:43 AM (GMT)
The Dreadgaunts have wings........I thought I said earlier that everyone here was smart (seriously) and would be able to figure out if I'd left out anything when typing :P .........Just mucking around, don't take anything I say to offence!
If I get more Genestealers, Then I have to get rid of one of my other troop choices!!!! I don't want to do that!!!!
This army is 2937pts all up (as I said in the first post up the top). and as I said in my third post, there is actually 220 models, not 80.....I forgot to change that part!
I don't think I want to change the Spinegaunts for the Termagants, the Spinegaunts are better, in my oppinion (don't know if I'll change them yet). I don't want anymore Biovores, because they die WAY too quickly for my likings, besides, I want the 2 Horrorfex's I've got to help me take care of the vehicles I'll be coming across alot. I don't THINK I want any gargoyles (not sure yet), as the Dreadgaunts are much better (in my oppinion).
As for mutations:
Yes, you can only have them if you make your own Hive Fleet. Your own Hive Fleet, however, can have a maximum of 12 different species, I'm using about 10, maybe 11.
Thanks people, keep the advise coming! I'm taking in what everyone is saying and changing my list as I deem necessary, so I want lots more advise (if possible).
Erokose - September 7, 2004 11:03 AM (GMT)
Well ok.....but get more bivores they rock :D
Oblivious - September 8, 2004 06:00 AM (GMT)
thats a heaps good nid army. i collect nids aswell but my army is nowhere near as good as yours. :P how much did all that cost you?
Scotty - September 8, 2004 09:27 AM (GMT)
Mmmmmm.........it cost me about $1500 (Australian).
Thanks guys!!!
(Biovores!!!!!!! OK, well....maybe) :D
emperors champion akeris - September 9, 2004 10:35 AM (GMT)
hmmm biovores well thats interesting. And you want more of them in is army. They are a little vunerable for my liking.
If you think he needs more heavy support i would perfer zoanthropes because they can get up close but have the armour to get in there and do the job.
biovores have basically no armour and are a target because they are annoying and can hide so most likely it will attract deep striking units.
Bolivious - September 11, 2004 06:53 AM (GMT)
yeh the other week i was vs erekose and oblivious and erekose knocked out Obliviouses biovore with one shot
The Confessor - September 11, 2004 08:24 PM (GMT)
Assuming he put his biovore behind cover to protect it. That means it would have taken an ordnance blast to kill in one hit.
Losing 50pt to get a tank's attention for 1 turn seems a fair trade.
