What does ure terrrain look like, mine is a city fight with snow covering everything.

I run a gaming club (the only one in miles) and so have a variety of terrain, from ash wastes to jungles. From sprawling hive cities to vast deserts. Have pretty much everything.

Silas how did you get the ash waste effect. Ive seen some great boards but do you just glue down sand and then use textured paint to get the effect of sandy crops????

Pretty much. Painted black then highlighted in several shades of grey, starting with codex grey and then getting lighter and lighter.
Make sure their are some stones and things scattered as well to give an impression of varying grades of ash.

Yeh i was gonna get a sheet of polystyrene that was uneven and use it to get the effect of the ground being ashy and uneven. The just mix bleached bone and codex grey to get a ash colour.
