This is my babies in all their glory. I have never lost 1 on 1 but have only ever won once in a battle containing 3 or more players. Pick it apart as you wish but most things wrong with this list come under personal experiences and preferences.
Emperor’s Champion 105pts
Wargear- Artificer Armour, Terminator Honours (included), Purity seals, Iron Halo, Master crafted bolt pistol, The Black Sword. Must be used and no extra equipment allowed.
Command Squad 10 marines 251pts (Techmarine, Apothecary, Standard Bearer, 7 marines)
Wargear- purity seals, servo arm, sacred standard, plasma pistol, narthcanium, Plasma gun. 6 marines with bolt pistol and close combat weapon.
Chaplin 110pts
Wargear- Power Weapon, Jump Pack, Terminator Honours
Squad 1 Close combat Initiates X 8 + 5 neophytes X 5 = 224pts
Wargear- Extra Close Combat weapon, 2 X Power Fist, Plasma Pistol, Purity Seals. 5 marines with bolters.
Squad 2 Fire Support Initiates X 10 = 174pts
Wargear- Missile Launcher, Flamer, Close Combat Weapon, Krak Grenade, Purity Seals.
Assault Squad = 277pts
Wargear- Purity Seals, Power Weapon X 2, Plasma Pistol.
Rhino = 58pts
Upgrades- smoke launchers and extra armour.
Land Raider = 263pts
Upgrades- Smoke Launchers, Extra Armour, Storm Bolter.
Total- 1462pts
Total models = 49

For instance; how big is your assault squad?
Not a bad list. A bit small for my liking though.
assault squad 10 marines. Small. Every forum same story. Small isnt an issue for me. I cant stand infantry armies loaded with hopless basic troops. Wheres the fun in that. When i get my elves up i plan to add more to this force with lots of infantry squads annd so forth.
I advise you to get some devastators

The first squad can only have a single power fist, and plasma pistols are not options for the squad.
The second squad can have a missile launcher or a power weapon, but not both.
The assault squad with 2 plasma pistols and purity seals, would be 280pts. As with the regular squads you can pick either the power weapon or the plasma pistol not both. You might consider dropping the seals and swapping a plasma pistol for a power fist.
Edit - Spartan they can't take devastators. But sure some anti-tank in the form of a predator might not hurt.
Ok sorry technical errors in the squads. Im basically using the squad thats close combat equipped as an assault squad without jump packs. Woops i forgot they had 2 power fists. That stands because im out of arms. BTW the firesupport squad only has a missile launcher. No squad members even have anything but a 2 handed weapon or a close combat weapon.
Templars rules states aswell that black templars get purity seals (codex armageddon)
Yeh i dont like having too many tanks. I just use melta bombs if i verse a out of the ordinary tank army but nothing i ever play has more than 2 tanks.
