Go to the clip "Fighting Windmills". Franco is wedged in between Peter Bogdanovich and rival remounter Mauro Bonani on the subject of Welles' unfinished Quixote/Guijote.

It sounds like Franco's going to be treated unsympathetically upon his introduction, but that's not the case. He's really just one witness adding testimony in an essay on an uncompletable work of art in a larger program dedicated to the theme. Nice to hear him (in Spanish and English). It would have been good (and just), however, if the correspondent had pointed out Bonani's own equally dyed-in-eurocultness...

I heard this one the other night on NPR. The moment I turned on the radio I heard mention of Jess Franco's SUCCUBUS. Very nice story all aroundand yes...Jess was well placed & well treated within.
