Going to be roaming the aisles or participating in any panels while you're not selling/autographing books?

I will be attending the show from Friday through Sunday, and I'm hoping to bring my 175-photo Power Point show on Tsuburaya to SDCC this year. Just waiting to hear back from them to see if we can squeeze this in. I just hosted the presentation for G-Fest last weekend in Chicago, featuring rare, behind-the-scenes stills from GODZILLA (1954) through LATITUDE ZERO (1969).

August, I was in Virgin Megastore a few weeks ago buying two DVDs--the latest Pokemon movie and the latest Godzilla release from Classic Media, ALL MONSTERS ATTACK/GODZILLA'S REVENGE--and as I was leaving the DVD section, I noticed a book display case and stopped dead in my tracks. There was my book, Anime Classics Zettai, on one shelf (right next to a Steve McQueen bio) and there on the shelf right above it was your book, Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters. If I only had a digital camera or cellphone, I could've snapped a photo of it and posted it here. (I own neither.) But it was a nice moment.

Nice! Even the image you paint is nicer than just a photo. I've had people send me photos of my book on shelves around the country and from overseas. Here's one from the Ultraman Exhibit at Roppongi in Tokyo earlier this year:

Just got back and decompressing -- what an overwhelming weekend! Will post some pics and a report (of a kind) later.
