I found this droll little show on Queens Public Access Friday morning and I was hooked. It's a little "American Bandstand" and a little MONSTERS CRASH THE PAJAMA PARTY. There's an episode on tonight here in NY - see link and schedule.

I *love* this show. Something Weird partnered with 'em to offer a DVD-R of the first three shows, and uses an episode of theirs on the DOCTOR OF DOOM/WRESTLING WOMEN VS. THE AZTEC MUMMY Image disc (which is where I first caught them). Anyone with a monster-lovin' heart needs to catch 'em if you can! Great googely moo!
Thanks, Aleck. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and as soon as the show was over I sent the ghouls an e-mail. After tonight I don't see it showing up on the Queens Public Access stations again this month.
I'm thrilled to see there are other fans of Ghoul A Go Go here!
Brooklyn Cablevision shows it every Saturday at noon, where my wife & I stumbled upon it one day and have been watching it ever since.
There don't seem to be a lot of episodes -- not more than 8 or 10 -- and I haven't seen any with a copyright date later than 2004.
It's a delightful tongue-in-cheek throwback to the days of Zacherle and Chiller Theater and kids' shows with live audiences like Chuck McCann's Let's Have Fun and Sandy Becker's Wonderama (but with a ghoulish twist, of course!).
QPTV only seems to be playing one episode a month, so I'll keep an eye out (eww!) for August's showing.
