Perhaps Love

I have tried watching the Perhaps Love DVD that came in an enourmous box, with card photosets all trying to engage me in the supposed sumptiousness of this musical (fantasy) by one of my favourite directors Peter Chan. This though was not one of his films that I even particularly like, and will struggle to finish viewing at some point.
I doubt buying the blu-ray release will help, but it is out there soon... :(

Or should I go for Leslie, Anita and Maggie in blu-ray 'Behind the Yellow Line' Coming to Blu-ray?

The DVD set is lovely -- yet I too have never finished the film (and likely never will). I hated the music too much, it was simply dreadful. I suppose I could try watching without sound....
