Anyone know anything about this? Nothing about this teaser poster excites me very much.

I'm pretty indifferent to the idea of a remake I sure don't need. But my feelings might be different if any of the original talent (Verhoeven, Tippett, Bottin, etc) were involved, or some other particularly intriguing names. Last I heard, there was nothing to suggest there was even a script or a deal in place. But I could be wrong.
I see they resurrected Robocop 2's poster image showing the vague reflection of the gigantic villain in Robo's helmet. Back then, I didn't even notice it in the bland image until someone pointed it out to me.

I had a dream last night about a crazy Robocop vs. Rambo movie (my money would be on Robocop). Now that I would buy for a dollar! :D
If I recall the dream correctly, it even had a mashup of the Robocop and Rambo themes on the soundtrack! It's too bad that both Basil Poledouris and Jerry Goldsmith are gone now. :(

Perhaps Werner Herzog will end up making ROBOCOP VS. BAD LIEUTENANT :-)

The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Darren Aronofsky is currently in talks to helm this remake.

In somewhat good news, Bloody Disgusting is reporting this is not a remake but a sequel that takes place 20 years after the original.

MGM'd buy that for
$100 million dollars.
