Anyone seen this yet? I've heard some good things about it.

Hi Doran, yep, viewed it at this year's Hong Kong International Film Festival along with a bunch of other films. My MONGOL thoughts can be found here:-
http://webs-of-significance.blogspot.com/2...08-hkiff-2.html(And if you do some checking around the rest of the blog, not only are there other mini-reviews but also photos -- taken by moi -- of quite a few people Asian cinema fans will recognize... B) )
. . . I saw this at the Seattle International Film Festival - my thoughts are over on the Art House board posted in the "What Art/World/HW Films Have You Been Watching" thread where I posted other little SIFF reviews, including the China/Hong Kong films BLOOD BROTHERS/TIANTANG KOU, very stylish indeed, and BLIND MOUNTAIN/MANG SHAN, which is not to be missed . . . basically, regarding MONGOL, you should go see it and have a good time . . .
Saw it on October 2007 in Eurasian Film Festival (in Antalya) and loved it.
I think it is a must see if you are into epic films.
Roger Ebert gave Mongol 3 1/2 stars out of four but seemed to not actually like it that much:
