Out of all of the Toho Kaiju, Green Gargantua scared me the most. Still gives me the willies to this day. What a vicious beast.

I'm looking forward to this disc. Two Kaijjyu movies for about $15 isn't a bad deal at all.
Is there any chance of Wellspring/Genius releasing a new Destroy All Monsters disc? I'd love to have one. Amazon.com reviews seem to indicate that the old ADV films disc isn't any good.

ADV Films still has the DVD rights for DESTROY ALL MONSTERS and are issuing it *again* on DVD -- shovelware-style -- repackaged with GAMERA: GUARDIAN OF THE UNIVERSE. Once ADV's rights elapse, then someone can do a proper job -- but, that won't be Classic Media, since they grandfathered the rights to the films that they've released from their acquisition of Henry G. Saperstein's UPA, and I doubt that they'll want to shell out the clams for DAM. Maybe Sony will pick it up?

One by one, the titles released in the crappy Paramount/Gateway promotion (VHS, pan and scan, SLP 6-hour mode) are being reissued in spiffy widescreen DVD versions, such as DANGER: DIABOLIK, THE SKULL, and now WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS. Of course, BLOOD AND ROSES continues to languish among the missing.
